◦ oh, this sneaky mf. bro??? that's all he was to you??? a 'bro'??? he immediately tackles you to the ground, tickling you while exclaiming 'bro, huh? where the hell did you learn that from?'. besides, two can absolutely play at that game. instead of calling you 'bro' back, he decides to call you sweet pet names to make you just as flustered as you make him. will start calling you sweetheart, darling, prince/ss, beautiful, etc. anything to make you realise that you're not just a 'bro' to him.

◦ soobin.exe has stopped working. mans is absolutely perplexed. he honestly does a double take, and just sits there processing what you just said. you guys were getting so close recently, he completely forgot that you only saw him as a friend. he pouts his lips as tears start forming, and plays with the hem of his jumper to distract himself. he does find you extremely adorable, so he starts smiling at the randomness of it, but deep down is disappointed at the unrequited feeling.

◦ his reaction is honestly a mix of yeonjun and soobin's. just like yeonjun, he will waste zero time in teasing you about it. but instead of using pet names, he starts calling you 'bro' back while putting on a fake 'alpha-male' accent y'all know the one. 'sure thing, bro' 'you want a glass of water, bro?' 'hey bro, did you wanna watch a movie bro?'. he keeps going until you hit him out of annoyance. however, just like soobin, he's using the jokes and laughter to cover up his sadness at the realisation that you may have just friendzoned him :(

◦ tae, like usual, gives absolutely zero reaction. like nothing. just sits there and acts as if you calling him bro is a regular occurence which happens all the time and is definitely not something out of the ordinary. meanwhile, his heart is pounding so hard he thinks it might fall out of his chest, but he remains composed. so to annoy him, you do it again. and again. and again. you honestly think about giving up until taehyun sighs heavily and asks 'what is it, bro?'. you definitely didn't expect him to play along, and taehyun sits there smirking, knowing he just beat you at your own game.

you slowly turned the door knob, entering your shared apartment. the lights were off, signalling that nobody was home, which made you feel infinitely worse. you had just had a dinner with your parents, which ended in a huge argument, as it always did. this time around they were criticising your career choice, throwing insults such as you’re useless, you’ll never amount to anything, and your personal favourite: you’ll always be a disappointment. needless to say, it made you feel like utter shit. and now all you wanted was to cuddle with your boyfriend, but he wasn’t even there.

you kicked off your shoes in frustration and slammed your bag down onto the counter. hot tears started filling your eyes. you were just so exhausted today, and nothing seemed to be working in your favour. to make it worse, your parents’ words were floating around in your head, not leaving you alone. it wasn’t until you reached your room that you finally allowed yourself to cry.

you started sobbing violently, head down into the pillow of your bed, nails digging into the sheets. you had been crying so hard that you hadn’t heard your concerned boyfriend unlock the door. nor had you heard him walk inside, put his bag down, and immediately rush to your side. it wasn’t until you felt a warm hand on your back that you finally looked up.

yeonjun was meant to still be in practice, but after messaging you three times with no reply, he felt like something was wrong. so he immediately rushed home, and boy was he glad he did. seeing you there, sobbing into your pillow, absolutely broke him. he couldn’t even begin to process the amount of emotion he was feeling at once. he wanted to both comfort you and also burn the entire city down to find out who hurt you. he decided that the first was the best option.

so without a word, he pulled you up from your position and scooped you into his arms onto the bed. he repositioned so that your head was on his chest, one of his hands drawing small circles on your waist and the other running through your hair. he allowed you to keep crying, and gave you small kisses on the head for encouragement.

once your sobs had calmed, yeonjun gave a small kiss to your forehead and softly muttered “what’s wrong, baby?”. you looked up at him, tears threatening to spill again. he cups your face with his hand, using his thumb to rub small circles onto your cheek.

“tell me everything.” he says, before planting a kiss onto your forehead. so you do, you tell him absolutely everything. from the dinner, to the insults, to coming home without him, you get everything off your chest. meanwhile, yeonjun starts to plant soft kisses all over your face while you talk. your forehead, your cheek, your nose. he doesn’t leave anything untouched.

the more he hears about how you were treated, the more he wants to absolutely shower you in his love. he wants to show you that you’re perfect, you’re amazing, you’re his biggest inspiration.

“oh, sweetheart,” he whispers once you’ve finished, “you’re absolutely none of those things, you know that? i don’t know why they’ve decided to criticise you like that, but you’re the most lovely, hardworking, ambitious person i know. and if they can’t see that, then that’s their loss.”

you choke up at his words, so yeonjun starts to run his hands through your hair again, giving u more kisses and compliments inbetween such as “lovely”, “brave”, “beautiful”, “gorgeous”

◦ he wakes up all groggy and sleepy from the night before. his muscles are aching, his clothes are on the floor, and he is absolutely ready to pepper your face in kisses. so he turns around ready to snuggle up when,,,,,, you are not there. as in: gone. left. vanished.

he just lays there with a small pout, trying to process what's happened. and then it hits him. you're like,,, actually not there. concern levels: rising. detective yeonjun mode: activated. he will not accept you not lying next to him, so he decides to search after you.

he calls out your name, but no reply. he looks under every nook and cranny and you're just not there. it isn't until he stumbles into the kitchen that he finds you there, in his shirt which really turns him on, making breakfast. "yah!! y/n!! what were you thinking!!" he half scolds with a pout, pulling you close. "sorry junnie, just making breakfast" you reply, which is definitely not a good enough excuse for him. so, as punishment, he gives you a deep kiss and then pulls you back to bedroom to commence round 2.

◦i honestly don’t even know how you escaped from his grasp in the first place. after you did the dirty, he hung onto you like a koala. your head buried in his chest, his hands running through your hair, soft kisses every five or so seconds. but by some miracle you managed to get out of bed to go brush your teeth.

the man the myth the legend himself wakes up, but doesn’t open his eyes at all. but he notices that your body warmth is not there anymore, which means that he needs to pull you back to him. he starts moving his arm around lazily trying to find you, but you’re nowhere. when he realises that the bed is cold his eyes immediately shoot open. and sure enough,,,, u ain’t there :((

immediately starts overthinking. did you enjoy yourself? did he do something wrong? did he upset you? he replays every minute of the previous night in his mind to figure out if he did something wrong, but he can’t figure out what. by the time you come back to bed, you’ve got a sulking, sleepy soobin waiting for you. as soon as he sees you, however, his eyes light up and he instantly widens his arms for an embrace, in which you happily comply.

◦the absolute worst decision you could’ve ever made. what were you thinking. u absolute monster. first he gets super confused, rolling his arm around on the mattress aimlessly trying to grab you. but then he realises your side of the bed is cold and you’re gone. so he cracks his eyes open, and for some reason just assumes that you’ve left him. forever.

i think gyu is bit of an over-thinker omg twins so he doesn’t really rationalise in that moment, but rather lets his anxiety take over. he genuinely thinks that he did something wrong or hurt you, and you’ve left him for good. immediately starts planning the 8 page apology letter in his head.

he’s so caught up in his thoughts that he doesn’t hear you coming into the room until you’re standing right in front of him. he looks just looks up at you like “i thought you left me 🥺” and your heart literally breaks. so you immediately wrap him up in your arms, call him an idiot, and then proceed to kiss away his worries. after that he makes you pinky swear that you’ll never leave before he wakes up ever again.

◦honestly have you seen this mf? probably will not give a single fuck. he’s rational and knows that you’re probably just around the house somewhere 😭. you can’t fool this man, he can literally hear you taking a shower in the other room, so he gently goes back to sleep.

but then it hits him… you’re showering…. in the other room…. without him????? y/n what the fuck???? he will not accept this. so you bet your ass tae grumbles out of bed and marches straight to the shower. the bathroom was door was wide open so this idiot walks right in, zero fucks given.

he calls out behind the shower curtain and just goes “love, i think you forgot something 😗”. you pull back the curtain to see what it is, expecting him to be giving you a towel or something, but instead you’re met with the one and only mr kang fully undressed with his hands on his hips. “showering without me, huh? now who told you that was a good idea?”. he hopped in and needless to say, showed you exactly what you were missing out on.

◦omg this boy does not even notice you’re gone in the first place. wakes up like three times, and then falls back asleep within two seconds. after prince charming has gotten all his beauty sleep, he wakes up and decides he’s gonna wake you up too but like,,, super romantically. should he wake you up with a soft “hey baby”? should he kiss you? or should he call you darling instead? should he tell you he loves you?

once he’s decided on his plan, he musters up the courage to roll over, and his heart is lowkey racing at the thought of waking you up. so he rolls over and,,,,, you’re not there. his brain glitches and he just stares at your empty space, trying to process. he isn’t even panicked, he’s just straight up confused. so he decides to go out looking for you so that he can carry out his super romantic plan.

◦ first time he sees your flareups, he instantly gets worried. your skin is all red and cracked and he's panicked that you might've hurt yourself. immediately asks you what you did to yourself with a concerned look on his face. you explain you have eczema and baby boy knows exactly what to do. he instantly goes out and buys you every moisturiser and hand cream on the shelf. he returns and runs you a warm bath to get yourself clean, and then offers to moisturise your flareups for you. he tries to kiss your flareups better but you won't let him don't touch the flareups, jun so instead he settles on peppering your lips with soft butterfly kisses !

◦ mother soobs has arrived. he has a cousin with eczema i made that up, so he's on it straight away. opens his drawer to show you his expensive array of moisturisers, creams and treatments. if you need anything, he'll be on it immediately. need to go to the doctor? want some more moisturiser? need cuddles? he'll be by your side in an instant, making sure you're feeling okay. if you're getting too stressed about it, he'll tuck your head in his chest and rub soothing circles on your back, hoping that will make you feel better !

◦ mans was absolutely perplexed when he saw your flare up. he has no idea what's going on and starts panicking right away. are you diseased? should he call someone? once you tell him it's just your eczema flare up, he relaxes a bit, but still can't help and feel worried. he's lowkey sad you didn't tell him about your flare ups earlier in the relationship so that he could've taken care of you sooner, so he decides to make up for it now. absolutely smothers you in bed and will not let you leave. cuddles you gently, being very careful not to touch the flareups. will probably ask you what he should do for next time, because you're his and he just wants to take care of you !

◦ can't help but crack a joke the first time he sees the flare up. he doesn't do it out of malice though, it's said out of pure concern. he doesn't want to show how worried he really is, so he has to make a sarcastic comment to hide it. however, you quickly notice that he's always around you, lending you his treatments, running you baths more frequently, and so on. when you guys are cuddling he'll softly rake his fingers through your hair while telling you cool facts to distract you from the itch and pain !

◦ he senses your panic attack happening before he even sees it. he knows you like the back of his hand, so it doesn’t take long for him to find out something’s wrong. he looks over at you and as soon as he sees your wide eyes and short breaths, his heart breaks in two. all he knows is that he needs to be with you, right this second. but it’s so hard to do so when your relationship hasn’t been exposed to the public yet.

he makes eye contact with you, and immediately mouths an “are you okay?” when the cameras aren’t on him. he does this for the remainder of the shoot. “you’re doing so well baby” “breathe, my darling” “it’ll be over soon, beautiful” “i love you” if he can’t touch you, he’ll have to comfort you in other ways. however, as soon as the filming is over, yeonjun is by your side in an instant.

he immediately strides towards you, not caring who’s looking. you look up at him with tears in your eyes from having to hold the panic in for so long, and he wastes no time in wrapping you in his arms while cursing the world for making you feel like shit. you start to softly shake and sniffle, and yeonjun holds you tighter, one hand caressing your head while the other stays firmly on your waist. he gives you small butterfly kisses while whispering words of encouragement: “you did so well” “i’m so proud of you” “it’s all over now, yeah?”. he’s absolutely shattered, and can’t wait to go home to take care of you properly <3

◦oh gosh baby is completely clueless for the first ten minutes. he’s so engrossed in whatever the hosts are saying, that he doesn’t notice you sitting there all tense, desperately looking for an exit. one of your group members crack a joke, so while everyone’s laughing soobin using the opportunity to take a quick glance at you, and that’s when he sees. and boy does his face immediately drop in concern.

he doesn’t know what to do, especially because your relationship is completely secret. he also has an image to uphold, especially because he’s the leader. so he continues on with the variety show, stealing glances at you every so often. when he makes eye contact with you, he can see you silently pleading to comfort him, but he knows that he can’t. he spends the rest of the shoot sitting in guilt and worry, praying to whoever’s up there to finish the shoot right that second.

as soon as the shoot is finished, you’re all escorted to your dressing rooms. soobin however has other plans, and immediately grabs you and pulls you over somewhere private. just like yeonjun, he wastes no time in getting you in his arms, wrapping them tightly around you and burying his face in your hair. he does this partly out of comfort but also partly out of guilt, since he feels extremely bad for leaving you there on your own. he feels you shake and hyperventilate, and he can’t help but tear up. he hates seeing you like this, absolutely despises it. so he vows that when you get home, he’s going to take care of you in the way he wishes he could during the filming <3

◦he may be the king of variety shows, but that doesn’t stop him from being absolutely aware of your every move. he knows that you find these things anxiety inducing, so when he found out that you were both going to be on the same show, he knew exactly what to do. every five seconds he was glancing over at you. and he couldn’t help it, not only did he want to take care of you, but you were also so so so stunning. his eyes just seemed to automatically wander towards you, it was habit at this point. so when he glanced over and saw you looking back with a panicked expression on your face, the alarms in his head instantly went off.

he knew what experiencing panic was like, and he also knew that it would gradually get worse. however, he also knew how strict filming was, and so it was unlikely you’d be able to get a break. so he made sure to show off his entertainment skills so that the cameras wouldn’t be focused on you while you were trying to calm down. he started cracking jokes, running around, and generally interacting with the hosts much more. every time the camera wasn’t on him he’d instantly be looking at you, sending you small finger hearts and reassuring smiles. in all honesty, being the absolute centre of attention was quite stressful, but he was more than happy to do it for you. anything for you. he’d eat his own heart if you asked him to.

after the shoot, he was by your side in an instant. his hands went to cup your face, and he turned you upwards to look at him. “you alright baby?” he’d ask as he gently started to caress your face. “you’re okay now, so proud of you.” he’d say before planting soft kisses all over your face. he’d take your hands if they were still shaking and pull you into a warm hug. would plant even more kisses on the top of your head while squeezing your waist for reassurance. once it was time to leave, he’d send you texts throughout the day to check up on you, while also reminding you that you’re the strongest baddest bitch he knows <3

◦let’s be honest here, he notices your anxiety before you even do. since he’s mega in love you, he just couldn’t stop staring at you the entire time, which led him to instantly notice how your hands began to slightly shake, and how your jaw was more tense than usual. he low key starts to panic as well, because he has no idea what to do. how can he comfort you without exposing your relationship? so he decides that the best thing he can do is try to change the topic whenever it lands on you. he thinks he’s doing a good job of it, however as soon as you look at him with absolute fear in your eyes, he knows exactly what he needs to do.

he wastes no time in announcing that he needs a toilet break. thankfully, the producers agree to let everyone off on a short break. while everyone is going off to rest, you try and look for him for comfort, but he’s nowhere to be found. your anxiety starts to peak again, until tae arrives next to you with a water bottle and snacks. he’s not so good with comforting through words or physical touch, so he’s hoping he can comfort you through acts of service instead. he sits you down and encourages you to tell him what’s wrong, which you do.

he has his hand on your inner thigh the entire time, rubbing soothing circles. he listens eagerly, moves hair out of your face, and tries to help you calm down. he helps you do breathing exercises, drink water, and forces you to eat something small. food fixes everything, after all. once you’re much more calm, he gives you a peck on the lips for some final comfort before you’re forced to go back on set. for the rest of the shoot he’s constantly looking at you, making eye contact and giving you small smiles of encouragement <3

◦poor guy is absolutely clueless. he’s having a great time cracking jokes, playing games, and just generally mucking around until he catches you on the literal verge of tears. he instantly gets super concerned, and has zero clue on what to do. he tries to make eye contact with you and ask if you’re alright, but it’s quite hard when there’s a thousand cameras pointing at you. he decides to take the first opportunity he can to get close to you, which is by swiftly moving inch by inch when the cameras aren’t looking.

as soon as he’s next to you, he sneakily puts his hand on your lower back, rubbing in soft circles. he really hopes it gives you comfort, which it does. if he gets the chance, he leans down when nobody is looking to whisper words of encouragement in your ear. “it’s alright baby, just breathe.” “you’ve got this sweetheart, only an hour to go.” “i’m right here beside you baby, i’m not leaving”. his reassurance calms you down a lot, and you can already feel your anxiety lessen just by having him near.
