#I once made a Penicillin for myself and reeeally loved that (hated the candied ginger tho it tastes like soap to me)#but that's not colorful and fun #as far as fruity ones go I think you can't go wrong with a nice Piña Colada or Sex on the Beach #or a Swimming Pool because I love a nice 'this is for sure artificial as fuck' blue #I also like a Gin and Tonic sue me #Oh and if you want Rum and Coke to sound less lame just say Cuba Libre - love that too :3

I bought Dispatch in the summer sale, binged through all of it in one day, and honestly? I'm positively surprised.

I thought I'd hate it ('Netflix style adult animation edgy humor' doesn't land for me 90% of the time and I don't love Superheroes as a concept to begin with) and I DID hate some parts of it, but I also really liked a lot of it. I even teared up a little at one scene.

At the end of the day it's not a revolutionary story but it's cute and it does the "just one more episode" thing where you can't stop watching / playing very well. If they release a season 2 I'm in.

One massive L though: Wtf is that character design? Why do the men come in different shapes and sizes and unique designs, meanwhile all the women are... conventionally hot in minimally different flavors of "hourglass"?? We should be past this.

#I feel like the game played it kinda safe in many ways and I get it #it's a new original IP and without a big brand name or an existing fanbase attached to it you'd want your game to be approachable #but I hope if there's a seaon 2 they push both the character designs of their women AND the narrative choices a little farther #that being said I really didn't think I'd like it and I ended up having a pretty good time #worth picking this one up in the sale if you like these kinds of 'interactive movie / tv show' type games #dispatch

holy moly, it's >35°C IN THE SHADE with around 30% humidity outside where I live (in direct sunlight it easily got to 42°C and was still climbing) which isn't even the worst Europe is getting at the moment and like... I am a summer lover, my depression gets worse in the dark season so I am willing to endure high temperatures if it means I get to see my beloved wife, the sun. But this is insane. This isn't normal for this part of the globe. I couldn't even read in the garden without getting a wet kitchen towel for my neck / shoulders. Stay safe everyone.

drawings are secretly the enemy because they start off very nice and unassuming but then when they're about 80% done they start emanating a malevolent aura that makes finishing them the scariest activity you can imagine

So my first owlcat game gave me "seemingly terrifying, toxic man turns out to have a shockingly sweet and wholesome (...ish, it's WH40K after all) romance."

And I'm getting a feeling my second owlcat game is about to give me "seemingly sweet, wholesome man turns out to have a shockingly toxic romance." and I kind of love it. 😂

#on one hand I do like when a video game romance just kind of caters to me as a player #but it's definitely very interesting and cool that owlcat doesn't seem to do that or at least not for all of their romances #I think I'm in for a terribly realistic 'dating a 24 year old with severe self worth issues' kind of story #and that sucks in a very intriguing way :D #I prefer an interesting story over a 'dating sim' any day
