Squadra's Big Cheese

You find a voice suddenly calling out to you. Strangely, you can’t seem to pinpoint where the voice is coming from. There doesn’t seem to be anyone within sight either, so you can’t really make an inference based on your surroundings.

The voice speaks again:

“I’m over here, dingus!”

You begin to look around some more, but again: Nothing. You can’t really seem to figure out which direction the disembodied voice came from. Actually, now that you think about it, you’re pretty sure it isn’t even coming from the outside world, but rather it’s inside your head. Were you going insane?

Trying your best to brush it off, you look back at where you were before all this happened, only to find a person standing there.

“Heh, took ya long enough!” It’s the voice again. It seems like this is the person, yet their mouth isn’t moving… Strange. “The name’s Mente! Sorry about giving ya a scare, but I can’t help it; this is the only way I can talk to others, you know? Anyways, I was getting kinda bored only being able to really talk to my squadmates, so I asked Capo if I could make a blog, and he surprisingly said yes! With that being said, talk to me maybe? You don’t have to show your face to me, I’m just looking for some conversation! Hell, you can ask about my life if you’re interested!”

Brown eyes glint something dangerous at the offer, excited--unhinged, even, at the help that she'd be getting to carry out her plan. Soon, the tall will no longer have their armrest. Soon, there will be no one to hold their stuff just out of their reach. Soon, the small will raise from the shadows, out of the darkness from the giants that stood before them. Soon, soon.

Her face split into a grin.

“You got it, kiddo. Just leavin’ the offer there. You know what I can do. Godspeed n’ all that good stuff.”

((Well, it’s been a year since that giveaway, and I’d just like to apologize for the pieces I wasn’t able to get done. I had every intention of doing them, but it seems like the moment I tried to work on them, my mind went blank and I had no idea what to do. I’m not sure where the apprehension to do them came from, but it hit hard. Not to mention all the real-life stuff that got in the way between then and now…
