early summer. school was about to be out. feelings were on the floor. about to start senior year. still felt like a child but was being offered alcohol in restaurants. producing on my school mac. dying my hair blonde for a change. late afternoons on the countryside. disconnected from people. the urge to make something. producing song on my ipad. then, back to what felt normal to me. experimenting with everything; makeup, clothes, hairstyles. dying my hair brunette again. scared of change, because maybe it would mean that i would go back to what i felt before. the early breeze of autumn. the feeling coming back.

the need to put it all out there. all of my feelings, all the stories that came out my head. some of them are not real, but they say something about me, they’re about me. this album is me, all i ever thought, all i ever wanted. all of these songs, they unveil something about who i am. all my deepest thoughts, wishes, everything.
