For what seemed like the 20th time this week Minhyuk bemoaned the fact that he lived in part of the world where summer was always accompanied by large amounts of rain. The air felt heavy and his shoes where soaked through. Again, he wondered if it wouldn't just be better to buy a car than having to rely on public transportation. But then where would he park?!?Â
  The distance from his apartment to the small coffee shop he frequently met friends at was short enough that he could easily walk it with an umbrella, but there was no way in hell he was gonna walk to the other side of the city to get to work. The damn buildingâs on the other side of the river!! And for some reason the taxiâs just didnât seem to want to stop for him today, adding to his current dislike of rain.Â
  After what seemed like an hour of waiting, but in reality was closer to ten minutes, a taxi was finally slowing and pulling to a stop.... just down the street from him.... in front of a pretty girl. Of course. Steeling his courage, Minhyuk went over to her in his best âconfidently casualâ walk. With a smile on his face he asked, âExcuse me, miss? If weâre headed in the same direction do you mind sharing the cab? Iâll split the fee.â Appologetically he added, "It seems they don't want to stop for me today."Â
