You Be Good

Never try to get in the way of me and my best friend. If she doesn't have a problem with us hanging out, then you shouldn't either. I've stuck with her through so much so far, you're not gonna scare me away with a death glare and a dumb verbal threat. She's too important to me.

I don't get how it's so hard for some people to get their heads around the fact that a guy and a girl can be JUST FRIENDS and I don't have any interest in her IN THAT WAY AT ALL. Believe it or not she's cool to hang out with and I enjoy being with her. She's like a freakin sister to me, and it irritates me to no end when people make assumptions, and make snarky comments about it when I ask about her. Why do you care where she is? I wanna make sure she's safe and okay. Why are you waiting on her to go to lunch? I like talkin to her, and I'm happier when she's around. Idk why, I just am. Why are you so jealous about her? Because I'm an idiot, acting like a six year old. I am not jealous, but more afraid. Scared of losing my best friend to someone better, cuz God knows she deserves so much more. Scared to death that she'll get hurt if I'm not around 24/7 protecting her. Which of course is crazy, I know, but I love my sister, and I guess that's just the big brother coming out of me.
