At the Goblin Camp, Arty ran into Abdirak. He stopped her, looked into her eyes, and read the sadness there. Most can’t read a thin. Because of this, she was compelled to let him complete the ritual on her. She rolled over 20 every single time… taunting him, wanting more. And more. Perhaps the pain helps ground her, feel where she is. After all, when you can’t see, other stimuli are all you can rely on…. even if thats pain.

The Weave

One evening, after a near death experience with some deadly cave spiders, Gale noticed Arty was particularly shaken up. He took aside to show her The Weave.

As a self taught sorcerer, Artemiis is fascinated by Gales extensive magic knowledge. She has always loved her magic, making up for the loss of her eyesight with the extra sense it gives her. But her magic can go deeper than she thought possible with gentle schooling. She’s only ever been able to conjure simple cantrips alone, barely scraping the surface of what’s possible. She’s been playing in a puddle her whole life, and Gale just showed her the ocean.

She doesn’t mind when he boasts a little about his power; truthfully she really is impressed.

There was a flickering moment of spark between them- The Weave, or something else? Neither are sure. There may be something there that wasn’t there before.

Artemiis at The House Of Hope

Made me giggle when Raphael asked Arty about how she finds the decor at the house of hope. Cos, y’know, she can’t actually see it.

I’m OC posting!!!!! this is Artemiis (call her Arty, or Temy, if you like) she is my blind new Tav//

Some bits about her:

- She is a human sorcerer

- Her powers have always been there, and no one knows why exactly. She was gifted from birth

- She specialises in manipulation and conjugation- because of her eyesight.

- She is blind! She uses her magic to help her along as much as possible though, so many people don’t even realise she is. She can read books via her magic and has a sense of where things are (kinda like echolocation).

- Because of her blindness, she has a really sharper sense of magic around her than most people.
