I mean it’s sort of exciting, isn’t it, breaking the rules??

Is this all real? Or is it just happening inside my head? Of course it’s happening inside your head, Harry. Why should that mean that it’s not real?

Do you think he knows? I mean, they’re bits of his soul. The Horcruxes. Bits of him. When Dumbledore destroyed the ring and you destroyed Tom Riddle’s diary all those years ago… He must’ve felt something, right? What I’m saying is, if we do this thing right, if we find the Horcruxes and begin to destroy them one by one… Won’t he know he’s being hunted?

A word of caution: dementors are vicious creatures. They will not distinguish between the one they hunt and the one who gets in their way. Therefore I must warn each and every one of you to give them no reason to harm you. It’s not in the nature of a dementor to be forgiving. But you know happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.

You’re not a bad person. You’re a very good person, who bad things have happened to. Besides, the world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters. We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.
