I guess. I mean it’s there, and it’s better than the book version. I wouldn’t seek out fic of them but if it was a side pairing sure? I’ve also written them as a side pairing but it’s not my first choice.

Clary/Simon

I love them sm idk what else to say. They’re my big OTP for this fandom I guess. I don’t know how this happened at all but here I am. I came back to this series for a friend and I came back with another Climon fixation. They’ve taken golden tier next to Olivarry for me, which if you know me is like ... dramatic haha. If you put a Climon fic in front of me (real climon standalone, not Simclace or like whatever Simon/Clary/Jace or just Clace which is like what clogs up climon’s AO3 tag) then I will read it 0 questions. I might even read it if it has my squicks.

Clary/Isabelle

It seems like a really sweet ship and I would 100% read/write it. I’d have to come up with some ideas though. I don’t know if this is a ship I could just write on a whim without a prompt but I’d never say never!

Luke/Maryse

KILL THE SPARE

Sorry this was a tragic case of “pair the spares” that I hated every minute of. I am salty that Jocelyn died, but like I don’t care about that in this case. Like even if they had to pair Luke with someone else ... Maryse??? Pardon??? Like I know the show was pretty bad at relationship development but this was so bad. Like. I can’t even say how badly this was handled. I’m bias because I don’t like Maryse but like ... if other people liked this power to them but I was like “What the fuck” I would rather die than read a fic about them.

Jace/Alec

MAYBE I’ll pull over for a little Jalec ... it’s not exactly Climon tier and I usually don’t pair off everyone in a friend group with their best friends despite being super into friends to lovers. If I was offered a choice between like all shadowhunters ships excluding Climon and was forced to choose I would choose Jalec. I have a hard time connecting to Jace in general though I’m so burned from Book Jace that I side eyed Jace the entire show waiting for him to let me down.

Jace/Simon

ok so I strongly hc Simon as Pan and attracted to Jace but I wouldn’t say I ship it? Like I don’t actually want them to hook up or date. I couldn’t read Jimon fic if you paid me. Exceptions would be like, joke AUs? Like Simon goign to another dimension and being like “JACE??? I”m with JACE???” I eat that shit up lmao.

I mean, I watched the entire time with my gay eyes. It was good. It wasn’t fantastic or earth shattering or anything. I feel like a lot of the scenes for them were just strange but they were cute sometimes.
