* neptune’s got a fair amount of approved designs under his belt, including: the rabbit, a good chunk of domestic animals (ESPECIALLY the pomeranian), the pika, the ruffed lemur, the pallas’s cat, and the arctic fox... just to name a few.
* the llama and the alpaca were a collaborative effort between him and saturn. can you guess which one’s design was influenced more by neptune?
* doesn’t do well at ALL in the spotlight. he’s already a quiet, bashful fellow to begin with, and so he gets easily overwhelmed.
* hugs his tiny stuffed bunny (or whatever animal he’s making) close to his chest when stressed or nervous.
* baby waterfowl (ducks, geese, etc) being as fluffy as they are were his suggestion.
* a master knitter, and generally good with any hobby that includes sewing. if someone’s torn some fabric, they go to him. wool-bearing animals partly exist to supply this hobby. if he recalls, the order was ‘an animal that can be used to make clothes.’
* made his stuffed bunny himself.
* gives the best hugs out of the design team. no doubts about it.
* a little bit of a crybaby. just a little bit.
* yelling at an animal, even if it’s a design he doesn’t care for, is an easy way to stress him out. ‘wouldn’t hurt a fly’ comes from some interesting interactions he had with the insect department, after all.
* works best with venus, saturn, and pluto. meanwhile, it’s a bit hard for him to find synergy with mercury’s design rules, and, well. jupiter is jupiter. and he’s a little scared of jupiter.
* on more personal terms, he connects with shimoda the most.
* the cryptid, trunko, was a self-indulgent attempt to make a fluffy porpoise. neptune never even intended for it to be accepted, it just slipped through the cracks. the same goes for the fur-bearing trout.
