Based on the idea of tying a piece of string around your finger to remember something.

Cherry-Scented - Wash your hands with it for self-love spells

Melon-Scented - Wash your hands for protection, love or happiness

Strawberry-Scented - Wash your hands for love, lust, and favorable outcomes

Orange-Scented - Wash your hands for love, luck or money

Lavender-Scented - Wash your hands with it for protection, love, purification and happiness

Lemon-Scented - Wash your hands for purification, cleansing, protection and friendship

• New, young, or considering witches can ask you questions

• Your blog is free of hate and is a safe learning community (this includes bashing christians/non-pagans)

• No questions (as long as they aren’t creepy) will be laughed at or shamed

• It’s okay to ask you for advice or opinions, even if you are an experienced witch.

• Your blog is inviting and welcoming and is a space for education on the craft.

I know this was sent a few days ago but I’ve yet to get wifi on my laptop to properly answer this (I answered pendulum asks via my boyfriend’s iPhone because they were short and sweet.) 

But this response isn’t going to be short and sweet. It’s been festering in the back of my mind and I’m letting it all out now. 

First of all, let me clear something up; I’m not a Wiccan, and therefore I’m not a Wiccan witch. I’m not Pagan either, I’m a secular witch. I don’t (currently) follow any religion, and I don’t want to practice with a religion. 

And yes, I do think I’m cut out to be a witch. Anybody is cut out to be a witch, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, physical ability, mental ability, etc. If you think otherwise, great, but don’t you ever invalidate somebody’s craft because they’re “not cut out to be a witch.” 

“All of the needed knowledge” is such a broad subject. Are you talking about the knowledge of meditating and grounding, or what herbs to avoid  for this reason or that? Maybe you’re referring to the knowledge of gods and goddesses and magickal creatures. Or, maybe you’re talking about the needed knowledge of how to be a coward. I bet you’ve written an essay or two about that. 

But, to be honest with you, dear anon, I don’t have all the knowledge of the universe. Especially since I’m but a simple beginner witch, but who really does? Not old, experienced witches nor witches who’ve only been practicing for a few days. 

There are as many paths as there are stars in the sky, to quote another tumblr user. (If y’all have a link to that post, let me know and I’ll add it in.) Each path is tailored to a specific witch. I don’t work with spirits or creatures, and therefore I don’t have the all the knowledge. I’ve seen countless witches on my dash who follow established Pantheons or work with their own deities. I don’t, and therefore I don’t have all the knowledge. But that doesn’t invalidate my craft, nor does it invalidate any other witch’s craft. 

I don’t know who you think you are, invalidating other witches’ crafts and trying to discourage people from practicing, but I’m not putting up with it any longer. I finally found something I could put my all into, without fear of doing it “wrong”. I know I’m still a new witch, I know I’m going to continue to build my craft and walk my path my way. I know I’m going to continue practicing regardless of what anyone has to say, especially a troll without the courage to show their face. A troll who has to hide behind a gray and black mask with some knock off Ray Ban sunglasses. 

I’m very nervous to reveal this blog, but here it is!

This blog is a safe place for mentally ill witches, magic users, and pagans (I couldn’t fit the word pagan into the url) to send in confessions about what it’s like to be a mentally ill person within these communities. The focus of the blog if for mentally ill persons of all walks of life to express themselves and have their voices be heard within communities that too often silence them or make blanket statements about their illness’. The fact is, we’re all very diverse. We all have our own struggles, our own strengths and weakness’, our own battles to fight, and we deserve to be heard.

Confessions are the focus of this blog but personal stories, accomplishments, and advice for other people (though avoid making blanket statements) are all welcome! 

Absolutely no hate will be tolerated. People who hate on this blog/send hate directed at others users/behave abusively will be eviscerated. 

And because I believe in being upfront and being held accountable when one takes up an admin position in a community blog, you should know that this blog is run by chaosundone.
