This flying wyvern has a distinctive roar and can scatter and drop its scales covering a large area. It has few enimies, doesn't stay long at one place and has violent turf ward with Deviljho. The detonation of the scales can be caused by friction or tremor and therefor it is possible let them explode a bit more controlled. Bazelgeuse often appear suddenly when hunting other monsters and have scared many new as well as veteran hunters nearly to death.

I did some Koroks this time instead of swords.

This was my first time trying something with wood and I was pleasantly suprised how well I was able to draw, saw and paint them. They're pretty small (biggest one ~16cm/6") because I really like doing precision work and it took about a week to make them all.

Translation: A very dangerous subspecies of Zinogre. It lives in a symbiotic relationship with Dracophage Bugs and is able to control them.Like its related species this Fanged Wyvern is agil and powerful, but uses the Dragon Element. Therefore, it's easier to capture with Shock Traps than its normal variant. When charged-up its hide toughens and the monster becomes more vulnerable against elemental attacks.

Translation: This Bird Wyvern usually feeds on eggs it steals from the nests of other monsters. While fighting it uses its sharp beak as well as its arms to dig up rocks, wich are then thrown around or used as a shield - hitting it with the slinger puts an end to this strategy. Many hunters use Kulu-Ya-Ku feathers as decoration.

Translation: A Fanged Wyvern which spends most of the day eating rocks or sleeping. The stones mixed with its salvia become explosive and can be spit on others. When hunting it's recommended to attack its jaw to cause an explosion of the rocks stored in there to cause further damage. Because of its peaceful and lazy nature, this monster is liked by many hunters and not often the target of quests.

Translation: A Flying Wyvern wich feasts on eggs and inflates to float in the air. The monster uses wind as well as its tail to fight. While inflated, the air sacs on its neck are especially vulnerable and on the ground its movements are restricted. The fur is very soft and water repallant.
