Illustrated Maps Abi Daker

From the artist:

I specialise in creating unique, hand rendered artwork for my clients. My attention to detail and strong drawing technique means that my work is ideally suited to creating illustrated maps, panoramic cityscapes and perspective drawings. Previous commissions have included large scale graphics for  vinyl wall applications and window displays, a series of wine labels and a variety of editorial and literary projects.

My work reflects my interest in both the graphic and linear qualities of the world and aims to reflect these in an imaginative and engaging way. All work is drawn freehand and can be supplied in a range of digital formats and sizes.

One of the smartest things Ubisoft did, in my opinion, was the Rogue-Unity tie-in.

Playing as Shay in Rogue, your final mission is to kill Charles Dorian, Arno’s father. Then you begin Unity as Arno and have to deal with the effects of your father’s death.

Through this, you DO get to see the direct consequences of your assassinations. You DO get to see what happens to the children of the people you’ve killed – not only that, you have to live as one of those children, too. There’s a gravity to the death of every target, and it doesn’t become just killing people without having to think about the consequences of your actions.
