Long for receiving the 2017 Heart of Gold Award from Grossmont Hospital Foundation in honor of #NationalDoctorsDay and his support/dedication to the Foundation over the last 30+ years. Dr. Long, his wife Belle, and Sharp Grossmont Hospital CEO Scott Evans strike a pose at his award luncheon. Dr. Long served on the Grossmont Healthcare District board from 2008 to 2014, and we join the Foundation in thanking him for his contributions to public health and healthcare in the East Region.
