plus i think ive finally actually settled on a shading brush i like

anyways i like to think that hipswitch, despite his outwardly pleasant demeanor, is mega possessive. like hes lost so much shit and seen so many bad things and has done many bad things that i feel like if he gets even a shred of goodness from anything he clings to it like a starving hawk to a shrew. and bc of that clinging he gets a sense of possession; not an objectification, per se, but a sense of “these feelings are for us and us alone” or “i cant let anyone potentially snuff you out.” hipswitch isnt a good person. he wants to be, desperately, and especially in the eyes of Karmor, but he isnt. not yet. i mean a good person doesnt exactly kill a child—even if said child is possessed by a serial killing demon.

hes good to us, though, and in the end i think thats kinda what he cares about. so if anyone tries to take that away, well. nobody in Springrock really bats an eye at another brawl, do they?
