Chapter 35; Can you hear me calling? Please look out for meâŚ(Can you set me freeâŚ?)
~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~
1x1 felt the air shift.
An eerie contrast to the inside of the main cabin in the killerâs camp, "Auntie ...?" C00lâs voice reached his ears, they could feel the child grab her pant leg, clearly he felt the same shift as she did.
The day, or night he supposes, had started out just fine for the killers in this damned realm. It was what they considered the âweekendâ, in Kiddâs words, in this place.
A short period where there were no rounds that demanded physical labor from the killers and survivors, a short period where they spent their time to clean up their shared living quarters and gather energy for when rounds would start again.
C00lkidd had been on dish duty, since no one really trusted the kid to do the moreâŚphysical chores around their campsite.
Despite his unworldly strength in rounds, they all learned quickly that that strength only applied to said rounds. Thankfully the poor kid hadn't been too hurt after that, only a bit spooked, if his red raised fur and tucked tail were any signs.
Slasher was using his machete to cut at the tall grass and whatever foliage that needed to be cut, sometimes 1x would switch out that chore with the masked killer to let off some steam of his own.
John was cleaning around the more domestic living areas, something he was more familiar with thanks to his time spent with hisâŚ1x1 didnât remember if John ever told them the rest of that memory.
If he could remember it long enough to tell her that is.
And 1x1 was sharpening her swords after cleaning out the blood, dirt, and whatever the fuck else was on Slaherâs jacket, from all of their clothes near the river that thankfully could be used as drinking water as well.
Something Slasher told them all with a happiness they had never seen when someone was talking about something as normal as water. Stars, how long have they all been here for..? 1x1 thought to themself at the memory,
That's when that sound reared its head, they all heard it, he knows they did.
A low grumble sounded around the killer cabin's empty camp, the only thing out there was the trees and whatever unfortunate animal that happened to be at the wrong place, wrong time when it came to eating hours.
At least that was what they had all thought.
1x1 sat up from where they sat at the river bed and rushed into the main camp area, picking up the wet clothes with them, better to have extra protection if whatever made that sound was hostile.
He would have preferred to have actual armor of some kind, but, they all had to work with what they all had,
Coming into the camp, he saw Slasher first, the masked beacon killer was standing just outside of what the killers had dubbed the main cabin.
âDid you see anything?â They asked without a second thought, no time to waste when a threat made itself known. Slasher wielding his machete in his hand and shook his head no to his question. âAre the others inside?â He asked another shake or nod question for the silent killer.
This time, Slasher nodded his head and gestured for the both of them to head inside with his free hand, 1x1 nodded their own head and walked in front of Slasher up the steps.
The first thing 1x1 saw when she opened the door was Kidd standing next to John, said man looking ready to pounce if something got through the other two killers still out there.
The childâs worried eyes followed her movements as she came in, then doing the same with Slasher as he came behind them. When it registered in Johnâs mind that it was just his fellow teammates, he settled slightly, though he was still clearly alert.
1xâs mind snapped back to the present with a quick blink, thatâs right, they were still trapped in their main cabin with no idea of how to proceed with this new âdevelopmentâ.
Looking down to where C00l was still clutching his pant leg, they reached a hand down on his head and lightly ruffled his fur. âIâll go out.â She spoke with a tone that spoke of finality
C00l looked at his uncle with fear in his eyes, watching his face fall made them feelâŚemotions he couldnât place, she thinks it's sadness, but itâs been a long time since they felt anything other than hate for-
Thatâs off topic.
The point is, 1x1 didnât want to give false hopes or reassurances to the child when this situation may be something moreâŚâmatureâ for him, so to speak.
John made a sound he thought sounded akin to a ânoâ while Salsher shook his head furiously, if she looked at him for any longer doing that, they might get whiplash instead of him.
The masked beacon sheathed his weapon and began to sign, luckily 1x1 knew sign language from the Beacon Empire, though many might not know that about her.
âWe donât know whatâs out there! You could die!â He signed with purposeful hands, emphasizing his point without a voice.
Something that was taken from him long ago but they will listen to his words of concern.
1x1 walked over to where he stood, just in front of the closed door that separated them from whatever made that booming sound, feeling Kiddâs hand slowly slip from where it was on their leg as he went.
They held up his jacket that she had washed earlier, placing it in his hands while saying; âThatâs right,â he started with, âWe don't know, thatâs why we must find out.â
Slasher looked to the other two, C00l and John, for any protests from them, but found none.
Just uneasiness.
With a heavy sigh, 1x began to walk toward the front door, seeing no arguing coming from his teammates on this, but, as they put one foot forward she felt a tug on her pant leg again. Stopping in confusion, he looked down to the source, and to no surprise, it was Kidd that grabbed on their pant leg.
âLet me come!â C00l spoke with such determination, a kind they havenât heard since they were young. And too naive to trust.
His heart clenched at the thought.
âNo.â 1x didnât want to turn and see the kidâs face as he continued his walk for the door, Slasher having already moved from where he once stood in front of it.
Already moving one hand grab at their swords, and the other moving towards the door handle, the cold eternal night air greeted them as the fleeting warmth from the cabin left their being. At the sound of the old wooden door clicking shut, he brought out both swords fully, ready to face whatever might endanger them.
Hopefully it really was nothing, but she knew that was a fleeting hope. Walking down the stairs of the front porch, she looked around himself to see if something came near, maybe they could pick up its trail and follow it.
It sounded stupid to do, yes, they knew it was stupid to follow the path of whatever made such a sound, but what other choice did they really have? Wait for it to come to them? No, that was even stupider. To leave them all in danger.
Soon enough, his eyes landed on just what they were hoping to find.
Some bushes further near the back of the camp, on the edge of their safe zone that led to the dense, dark forest.
They knew no one on the killer's team was over there today. Even Slasher, whose chore is to cut the foliage so their camp isnât covered in it, he never strayed too far from the main camp.
Slasher had once said that if he, or anyone really, went too far to âclaimâ the forest, in his words, it would fight back.
1x1 hummed to himself at the discovery.
Whatever it was, it was smart. It was smart enough to know when not to pick a fight, to know when not to engage.
He clenched her sword handles at the thought, this night was going to be a long one for them. But, at least the kid was safe with the other two.
Forcing herself to unclench their swords, they breathed out a sigh through his mouth and followed the trail that was left as their only clue.
Aquarium naps are best with a friend!
~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~
Finn was becoming a little worried at the moment as he stood impatiently in one of the many elevators at Gardenview.
His left foot tap, tap, tapping rhythmically against the grey floor as his left hand supported his right elbow and his chin leaned ever so slightly into his right hand.
Why was he so tense? Finn could almost imagine a kid asking that. How could Finn, the normally happy and carefree toon, be so stressed looking? He almost chuckled at the irony of the thought.
But, thatâs not the focus here, the reason why he looked so stressed was because he couldnât find his best shrimp buddy anywhere he looked!
The two had an educational presentation on how clownfish can live in a sea anemone, while not stinging the clownfish themselves, but protecting them from any predators for a group of kids later today.
It was one of Finnâs favorite presentations heâs made since the aquarium floor first opened to the public, but he could reminisce about it all at a later date.
As the elevator let out its usual dinging, that somehow sounded louder than ever before to the toon, and the door opening followed shortly after, Finn was met with kids running by him as two seemed to be playing tag or some game similar in the lobby around the colorful benches and the olâ oak tree.
The fisherman felt a small smile creep its way across his face as he waved at them and walked past.
As much as he would have loved to interact with the little shark baits, he needed to find a missing shrimp first.
âAnd this here, kids, is the first oak tree grown by yourâs truly and my favorite pebble!â Dandy spoke animatedly to a group of kids and adults alike who were on a tour it seemed, Finn briefly waved and shared a small smile with the star of the show as he walked by.
The scene of Dandy having his own group of kids made Finn feel more tense for a moment. He really needed to find Shrimpo before showtime and fast.
âAh, good morning Finn.â The voice of Gardenviewâs colorful clock train manager greeted him, âHeya Dyle!â He responded in what he hoped was his usual cheerful tone.
The clock toon held up a notebook and pen as he did his morning tasks. As he took in the other toon, Finn swears heâs seen Delilah use that pen before, or maybe it's just similar? Finn wouldnât be able to tell the difference if someone asked him truly.
âIs something the matter, Finn?â Dyle asked out of the blue faster than he could say anything else, as if he had any idea how to ask the question bouncing around in his fishbowl head. Geez, am I that sea through? Finn thought to himself but shook the thought away with a sigh.
Dyleâs attention to detail was both a blessing and a curse for Finn and many of the other toons in Gardenview it seemed.
âHave ya seen Shrimpo âround at all today?â He knew of DyleâsâŚdislike toward Shrimpo as he would nicely put it. But, if anyone would have seen him it would have been Dyle.
Sure, Finn could have gone to Vee and asked her to help look for Shrimpo via the cameras in the building, but, Vee had a recording this morning and he couldnât disrupt that before he exhausted his other options first.
And, on the very likely chance, Shrimpo could very well be in a room that didnât have any cameras. Shrimpo did always like being alone when things got to him too much, but no one would ever hear the stubborn shrimp admit that.
âOh.â Was all Dyle said.
Okay, Finn was o-fish-ly panicked now.
âWhat do you mean âohâ?â He tried to keep any emotions that would betray his true panic out of his voice as he spoke again, but there was a slight tremble he couldnât hold back in his throat no matter what he tried.
Dyle hummed and placed down his notebook and pen on the counter before turning around and walking toward the filling cabinet and desk at the back wall of the room.
Finn waited anxiously for Dyle to do whatever it was he was doing.
Dyle shifted through many papers on the messy desk, seemingly looking for something specific, Finn guessed as he watched.
âAha! Here it is.â The clock toon held a piece of paper in one hand while the other held his chain as he walked back to Finn at the front.
âEarlier, Shrimpo came by to pick up an order from yesterday.â Oh thank cod Shrimpo isnât dead. The fisherman felt a wave of relief flood him as soon as he heard that. âThe order was for one set of sea animal themed sinker toys,â Finn was confused as Dyle listed off the first item of the order.
Did the employees make some changes to how the presentations were going to run from now on? Did Finn miss a memo or something??
âOne set of rainbow diving rings,â Seal-ously, was Finn not told about some new activity for the kids?? âAnd finally,â there was more to this?? âOne battery powered swimming fish toy.â
Finn stared at Dyle for a long moment in bewilderment. And maybe that moment was for too long since Dyle brought a hand up to his mouth and coughed to gain his attention in a polite manner.
Finn shook his head out of its confusion and tried to speak, âAnd..â he swallowed the spit that had gathered in his mouth when he was still shocked from hearing the order.
He tried again, âAnd did you see where he went with those things..?â Dyle looked at the other toon for a second with an eyebrow raised as his clock hands twitched.
Did Finn say something wrong? âI did not see where exactly he went with the items but I assume he would be in his and your aquatic floor, yes?â Dyle composed himself again quickly.
Finn hummed and nodded to Dyleâs words, âThanks Dyle!â he shouted out a quick thanks, he heard a âYouâre welcome Finn!â as he ran over to the same elevator he took to get to this floor.
He pushed the button that would call the elevator to the lobby, his foot tapping once again as he waited for it to come up.
With nothing much for him to do, his mind wandered back to the list of items Dyle had read to him.
Do I need to go over the presentation again? The thought sent anxiety straight through his water.
Finn didnât know if he could even memorize a whole new way of doing a presentation, let alone still have time to find his hot headed friend.
Ding!
Finn was relieved to hear the familiar ding again, the anxious worry didnât completely leave him but it gave him something else to focus on right now.
Finn forced himself to stop the anxious habit of his foot tapping to try and look normal in case anyone was inside this elevator, he hoped he looked convincing at least.
As soon as the elevatorâs door rolled up, he was met face to face with the craft siblings and a group of kids in the elevator.
Thank cod he planned ahead for this.
âHi Finn!â Goob was quick to greet him with the same kindness he showed everyone, Scraps waved to him and said a greeting as well, âMorning Finn!â The fisherman smiled and responded to his friends, âHeya guys!â he said as he walked in the elevator.
Some of the kids didnât really pay him much attention as he stood, but he saw some shark baitâs eyes light up when they saw him.
When the door rolled down, Scraps turned to the buttons and asked him "Which floor do you need?â
âMy own seven seas if you please!â Finn replied to her with, thankfully she knew what floor that meant, Scraps pushed the button that went to the two aquatic toonâs floor and off they all went to.
âWhat do ya guys plan on doing yourshells this morning?â Finn asked to try and seem less worried then he actually felt and to help distract him from what was making him so worried in the first place.
âWeâre doing some morning arts nâ crafts with our group before the big show!â Goob told him in his own cheery tone, one that was more normal than Finnâs own. Scraps hummed and some of the kids in the group cheered at the mention of doing arts nâ crafts with the siblings.
âArenât you doing a show too, Finn?â Scraps asked him.
Finn knew she hadnât meant to cause him any more stress than what he was already experiencing at the mention of his showing, she had no clue of what heâs been doing this morning, but it still did.
âYup!â Cod, he hoped that would be enough to stop that potential conversation in its tracks.
Now, donât get Finn wrong, he loved doing his shows! He loved being able to educate the kids at Gardenview and he loved having his best bud do it with him!
But right now he didnât want to talk about it.
Thankfully, neither of the craft siblings brought up more about his show this afternoon for the remainder of his elevator trip.
As he saw the elevatorâs door roll up for the third, and hopefully the last for a while, time that day, the comforting smell of the aquatic floor greeted him.
âSee ya guys!â He called out as he walked away from the now closing elevator, both Goob and Scraps said a quick âSee ya!â before it closed fully.
Alright, calm yourshell, Finn.
He took another breath full of the aquarium air to calm himself with a familiar scent. Now, all he needed was to find Shrimpo and hopefully have him fill Finn in on what was with water themed toys.
Looking around the space near the elevator, he didnât notice anything that was out of place or would lead him to finding Shrimpo.
Since the aquarium floor didnât usually open until the afternoon, that meant that there was no one on this floor other than him and hopefully his shrimp bud.
But, as he collated his surroundings, he heard no noise other than the gentle water pumps in the tanks and other machinery sounds.
No sounds of someone going through a supply closest for todayâs presentation, no sounds of a certain someone talking to himself about how the show was going to go that day, nothing.
That realization made the anxiety and worry Finn has had since six this morning heightened tenfold.
âShrimpo!? Buddy!? I reely need to know if you're here right now!â Finn called out as walked further into the floor, tanks going by him as he walked.
Finn walked by his âmeet and greetâ schedule poster, he walked by Shrimpoâs treasure hunt poster, and still he couldnât see any sign of the shrimp.
But, it seemed fate started to favor him.
Just as he was about to yell out for Sheimpo again he saw something in the corner of his eyes.
Stopping dead in his tracks, Finn looked closely at the tank that would normally be behind him when he would give his educational presentations.
There, Shrimpo was laid down comfortably in the aquarium sand. He was curled up similar to a cat, his tail wrapping around himself, asleep.
Finn almost wanted to laugh from the relief of having found his buddy, but he also almost wanted to cry from the anxiety trip he had gone on this morning all for Shrimpo to just be napping.
Well, at least he found him before it was their time for their showing and he knew how to get to the sleeping shrimp.
Walking over to his right where a âstaff onlyâ door was, he turned the door knob and started to walk up the stairs that would lead him to the opening of the tank he needed to get to.
Finn didnât really know what he was thinking early, of course Shrimpo would be napping in the water! It would be quiet, no one to look at him, and it was, well, underwater.
No wonder he would be in there.
Finn knew he wouldnât mind being in the water but sadly he couldnât do that right now. Maybe later though.
Soon enough, Finn was met with the âbackstageâ so to speak of his floor.
It wasnât very big but it didnât need to be, they really only had the one big tank that needed this to be able to get to it, and he needed to get to it right now.
Starting to walk toward the ledge that marked the end of the flooring and the beginning of the water in the tank, but as he came closer, he noticed an ocean themed bag that sat just out of reach of the water so it couldnât get wet but close enough that whoever placed it there could get to it.
Deciding to question that later, Finn crouched down to be on his knees and started to move his hand in the water.
He hoped that Shrimpoâs antenna would pick up on the disturbance in the water and he would swim to the top of the tank.
And he was right!
Not long after he saw an orange and white blob make its way up to his hand, and soon he felt a pressure against his hand as Shrimpoâs head poked out of the water, his tail fully laid back instead of its usual upright position.
It kind of reminded Finn of how some of the employees with long hair would tie it back into a low ponytail.
Due to how Shrimpo came up, Finnâs hand now rested just between his antenna, right where a fluff of white fur was, almost like he was about to give a kid a head pat.
Shrimpoâs eyes werenât fully opened yet, and clearly still tried since the next thing Finn felt he was not expecting.
Without so much as a loud greeting from the shrimp, Finn felt him softly nuzzle his hand and hummed in satisfaction at the contact.
Finn felt his heart die and go to heaven when he saw the action.
âWhat time is it?â Shrimpoâs tired, groggy voice soon followed as he stopped nuzzling the offered glass hand, not even bothering to acknowledge what he just did in his, probably, Finn told himself, sleepy mind.
âOh! Uh..â Finn recovered quickly from the shock and confusion he gained from watching Shimpro do that, his hand having yet moved from its spot on his friendâs head, and looked up to the analog clock hanging on the wall just next to him.
It read 11:45AM.
The presentation wasnât until 1:00PM, which made Finn both calm down and panic more simultaneously.
With a sigh to compose himself, he brought his attention back onto the toon waiting for an answer and replied; âItâs only 11:45, bud.â Shrimpo hummed again and moved closer to the edge, closer to where Finn was sitting.
âAlright, we still got some time to kill.â He said as brought up both of his hands to the mentioned ledge, Finn finally realized he still had a hand placed on his head and lifted it up to give Shrimpo more space.
âWhale,â Finn began, âI was hoping you could tell me why thereâs a bag here..?â He was still very confused on why Shrimpo had gotten this order in the first place, and worried that he wouldn't have time to memorize a whole new presentation before 1 p.m.
Shrimpo looked just as confused as Finn felt before realization crossed his features, âOh, those are nothing for the show today.â Oh thank cod, well that was one worry of his gone, but he still didnât know why they were here to begin with.
Finn hummed at his friendâs words and tried again to get an explanation, âBut why are they here?â He hoped he didnât come across as too âpushyâ, Shrimpo didnât like people poking around in something that was his business and Finn respected that.
Once Shrimpo heard what he asked, all of the leftover tiredness left his face, âItâs uh..â suddenly finding the floor very interesting to look at, Shrimpo couldnât meet Finnâs eyes. Seeing this, he brought up his hand again in mock surrender, âYa donât have to tell me if ya donât want to, bud.â Finn spoke in a steady tone, not wanting to cross a line.
Shrimpo looked at him with a sigh and spoke; âJust been a bit restless lately I guess.â Finn hadnât been expecting that as an answer.
But it did make sense in a way, when Finn thought about it. See, Shrimpo had more qualities similar to that of a shrimp, like how Vee was more mechanical than ichor but still living like the rest of them.
And Shrimpo has been having more and more shoots as of recent due to his growing âpopularityâ, he overheard some directors of the show say one time.
Did that mean Shrimpo needed some form of enrichment?
Gosh, was that why he blew up on Poppy and Brightney the other day? Because he was stressed out?
Finn looked at the bag that he was now thinking might hold the aquatic toys Dyle told him about earlier, then looked to Shrimpo again. âDo ya wanna..â Finn started his question but when Shrimpo finally looked at him, it died on his tongue.
Taking a breath, he tried again; âuse the toys ya got?â He spoke in a soft tone, not wanting Shrimpo to feel like he was making fun of him or something else, he just wanted Shrimpo to feel calm. Happy, even, but he knew that wouldnât be a today thing.
Besides, the presentation wasnât for another good hour, and Shrimpo needed this.
âHow do you know that?â Shrimpo threw back his question at Finn, now looking like he was about to punch him for knowing that.
Well at least he looked more like his usual self, Finn thought with a smile.
âI went to look for you and Dyle told me where to find you.â He told his friend with nothing but truth in his words as he sat down on the floor fully with his legs crossed over each other, a groan escaping him at the action.
He heard Shrimpo grumble a âstupid clockâ before he spoke to Finn again, âI mean, I guess, just donât tell anyone or Iâll kill you, k?â
Finn laughed at his words, he knew Shrimpo wouldn't actually do anything, âWouldnât dream âbout it!â Finn responded with.
Shrimpo moved both arms to push himself out of the water but Finn stopped him, âHere, I can get it so ya donât have to get out!â
Turning his right, where the ocean themed bag sat, he reached over and pulled into his lap and started to grab some of the toys. âThanks, I guess.â Shrimpo said as he watched Finn do this for him, âY-oar welcome!â he said with a calm he hasnât felt since yesterday.
Looking through the bag, he pulled out the mulity-colored diving rings that were on the top, he waved them in front of Shrimpo and asked; âThese ones first?â to which Shrimpo shrugged and said âSure.â The most direct âyesâ one could get from the angry shrimp.
Holding around 5 diving rings in one hand, Finn placed down the bag back in its spot and stood to full height. âReady?â he asked Shrimpo as he took one red ring from his left hand to throw with his right.
Shrimpo pushed off from where he once was to be around in the middle of the water, if that wasnât a silent invitation to throw it, Finn didnât know what was. Wanding his arm back, Finn yelled a quick âChatch!â as he threw it.
When the red ring left his hand, Shrimpo went back under the water and swam around in a few circles before jumping out and catching it with his teeth and falling back into the tank with a splash.
That was both impressive and a little worrying, but Finn wasnât a dentist.
Shrimpo swam back towards the edge of the tank and grabbed the ring out of his mouth with his left hand as his right came to rest on the ledge.
âAnother one?â Finn asked when the ring was fully out of Shrimpoâs mouth, grabbing a yellow ring to throw now, to which Shrimpo answered. âHell yea!â from where he stood.
Finn chuckled at his enthusiasm. It's been awhile since he's seen the shrimp be so open like this, it was nice to see him smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a good bit, Finn thinks around 15 minutes, which means it was just turning 12PM, of throwing the colorful rings for Shrimpo to catch, Finn asks if he wanted to move onto something else instead.
He didnât want this to feel repetitive for his best sea buddy!
âShrimpo?â He called out to make sure he would hear him. âYea?â The shrimp toon looked to him from where he was keeping himself afloat in the water, a green ring in his mouth that made him sound a bit muffled.
âDidja wanna try the other things in here?â Finn made sure to keep the question open ended, Shrimpo hated feeling like he only had one choice.
âSure, I guess.â Shrimpo agreed with a shrug and swam over to Finn, green ring now in his left hand.
Finn crouched down on one knee and held open the bag for Shrimpo to see what he wanted to do next as he came closer.
Placing down the green diving ring on the ledge and off to the side, Shrimpo dug around in the bag until he came across what he wanted.
Unsurprisingly, rather thatâs because he knew Shrimpo so well, something Finn took pride in, or because there wasnât much in the bag, Shrimpo pulled out a handful of the sinker toys.
With both hands palm side up, he held a yellow sea-horse, a blue whale, a purple turtle and finally a pink seal.
âNIce pick!â Finn said with a thumbs-up, Shrimpo snorted with a âDorkass.â as he leaned backwards in the water, placing the sinkers on his chest as if he were a boat himself, ripples in the water following him as he made his way across the tankâs surface water.
Finn smiled to himself as he pulled the bagâs opening to face himself instead of how he had it before, looking inside, Finn saw the last toy resting inside.
It was that battery powered fish toy Dyle mentioned.
The toy itself was a dark purple, almost plum, with lighter purples, a lavender to be exact, around it in a wavy pattern, making it look like when waves on a beach touch the sand. At least, thatâs what Finn thought.
âHey bud?â Finn called out again, looking up from the bag to see Shrimpo now on his stomach looking like he was about to dive downwards and fetch the sinker toys that he dropped down, Shrimpo turned his head to look at Finn, âYeah? The hell is it now?â
Taking the purple toy fish out of the bag with his right hand, his left holding onto the bagâs strap so it wouldnât fall, Finn held it up for Shrimpo to see and asked; âDidja wanna do anything with this today or no?â
Finn knew that if Shrimpo wanted to do something with it he wouldâve taken it out of the bag. But, Finn also knew that Shrimpo had a tendency to overlook things when he set his eyes on another thing.
Past experiences with his best shrimp buddy have taught Finn this well.
Shrimpo looked at the toy held in Finnâs hand, the fisherman couldn't tell what he was thinking as he swam over to him again.
Since Finn was yet to stand from how he was crouched over, Shrimpo had no trouble taking the fish from his hand and tilting down his bowl just enough to place it in there. âThere.â was all that Finn was given as an answer.
Finn watched as Shrimpo disappeared under the water, most likely to finally get those sinkers, shell shocked by what he just saw.
He knew thatâŚgosh, if Shrimpro knew what he was thinking he would deny it all to hell and back, but, Finn has seen for a while how Shrimpo was less âmeanâ to him compared to some of the others, he just didnât think the two of them have grown close enough that Shrimpo had done that willingly.
He knows that makes it sound like he was complaining that Shrimpo had done that but he wasnât!
Finn was surprised that Shrimpo felt comfortable enough to do that, happy that he felt comfortable to do that and another thing that he couldnât quite tell what it was right now.
Reaching into his bowl as he stood, Finn pulled the toy out carefully, and held it in his hand and stared at it for a moment.
Finn didnât know what made Shrimpo think, let alone act on the thought!, of putting the purple striped fish toy in his head, but Finn knew that it made him feel happy when looking at it.
Smiling to himself, Finn placed the toy back into his bowl, sat the bag down back to where it was when he first got there and sat down on the ledge, his glass feet dangling in the tankâs water.
Finn was glad that he found Shrimpo here.
Aquarium naps are best with a friend!
~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a good bit, Finn thinks around 15 minutes, which means it was just turning 12PM, of throwing the colorful rings for Shrimpo to catch, Finn asks if he wanted to move onto something else instead.
He didnât want this to feel repetitive for his best sea buddy!
âShrimpo?â He called out to make sure he would hear him. âYea?â The shrimp toon looked to him from where he was keeping himself afloat in the water, a green ring in his mouth that made him sound a bit muffled.
âDidja wanna try the other things in here?â Finn made sure to keep the question open ended, Shrimpo hated feeling like he only had one choice.
âSure, I guess.â Shrimpo agreed with a shrug and swam over to Finn, green ring now in his left hand.
Finn crouched down on one knee and held open the bag for Shrimpo to see what he wanted to do next as he came closer.
Placing down the green diving ring on the ledge and off to the side, Shrimpo dug around in the bag until he came across what he wanted.
Unsurprisingly, rather thatâs because he knew Shrimpo so well, something Finn took pride in, or because there wasnât much in the bag, Shrimpo pulled out a handful of the sinker toys.
With both hands palm side up, he held a yellow sea-horse, a blue whale, a purple turtle and finally a pink seal.
âNIce pick!â Finn said with a thumbs-up, Shrimpo snorted with a âDorkass.â as he leaned backwards in the water, placing the sinkers on his chest as if he were a boat himself, ripples in the water following him as he made his way across the tankâs surface water.
Finn smiled to himself as he pulled the bagâs opening to face himself instead of how he had it before, looking inside, Finn saw the last toy resting inside.
It was that battery powered fish toy Dyle mentioned.
The toy itself was a dark purple, almost plum, with lighter purples, a lavender to be exact, around it in a wavy pattern, making it look like when waves on a beach touch the sand. At least, thatâs what Finn thought.
âHey bud?â Finn called out again, looking up from the bag to see Shrimpo now on his stomach looking like he was about to dive downwards and fetch the sinker toys that he dropped down, Shrimpo turned his head to look at Finn, âYeah? The hell is it now?â
Taking the purple toy fish out of the bag with his right hand, his left holding onto the bagâs strap so it wouldnât fall, Finn held it up for Shrimpo to see and asked; âDidja wanna do anything with this today or no?â
Finn knew that if Shrimpo wanted to do something with it he wouldâve taken it out of the bag. But, Finn also knew that Shrimpo had a tendency to overlook things when he set his eyes on another thing.
Past experiences with his best shrimp buddy have taught Finn this well.
Shrimpo looked at the toy held in Finnâs hand, the fisherman couldn't tell what he was thinking as he swam over to him again.
Since Finn was yet to stand from how he was crouched over, Shrimpo had no trouble taking the fish from his hand and tilting down his bowl just enough to place it in there. âThere.â was all that Finn was given as an answer.
Finn watched as Shrimpo disappeared under the water, most likely to finally get those sinkers, shell shocked by what he just saw.
He knew thatâŚgosh, if Shrimpro knew what he was thinking he would deny it all to hell and back, but, Finn has seen for a while how Shrimpo was less âmeanâ to him compared to some of the others, he just didnât think the two of them have grown close enough that Shrimpo had done that willingly.
He knows that makes it sound like he was complaining that Shrimpo had done that but he wasnât!
Finn was surprised that Shrimpo felt comfortable enough to do that, happy that he felt comfortable to do that and another thing that he couldnât quite tell what it was right now.
Reaching into his bowl as he stood, Finn pulled the toy out carefully, and held it in his hand and stared at it for a moment.
Finn didnât know what made Shrimpo think, let alone act on the thought!, of putting the purple striped fish toy in his head, but Finn knew that it made him feel happy when looking at it.
Smiling to himself, Finn placed the toy back into his bowl, sat the bag down back to where it was when he first got there and sat down on the ledge, his glass feet dangling in the tankâs water.
Finn was glad that he found Shrimpo here.
That realization made the anxiety and worry Finn has had since six this morning heightened tenfold.
âShrimpo!? Buddy!? I reely need to know if you're here right now!â Finn called out as walked further into the floor, tanks going by him as he walked.
Finn walked by his âmeet and greetâ schedule poster, he walked by Shrimpoâs treasure hunt poster, and still he couldnât see any sign of the shrimp.
But, it seemed fate started to favor him.
Just as he was about to yell out for Sheimpo again he saw something in the corner of his eyes.
Stopping dead in his tracks, Finn looked closely at the tank that would normally be behind him when he would give his educational presentations.
There, Shrimpo was laid down comfortably in the aquarium sand. He was curled up similar to a cat, his tail wrapping around himself, asleep.
Finn almost wanted to laugh from the relief of having found his buddy, but he also almost wanted to cry from the anxiety trip he had gone on this morning all for Shrimpo to just be napping.
Well, at least he found him before it was their time for their showing and he knew how to get to the sleeping shrimp.
Walking over to his right where a âstaff onlyâ door was, he turned the door knob and started to walk up the stairs that would lead him to the opening of the tank he needed to get to.
Finn didnât really know what he was thinking early, of course Shrimpo would be napping in the water! It would be quiet, no one to look at him, and it was, well, underwater.
No wonder he would be in there.
Finn knew he wouldnât mind being in the water but sadly he couldnât do that right now. Maybe later though.
Soon enough, Finn was met with the âbackstageâ so to speak of his floor.
It wasnât very big but it didnât need to be, they really only had the one big tank that needed this to be able to get to it, and he needed to get to it right now.
Starting to walk toward the ledge that marked the end of the flooring and the beginning of the water in the tank, but as he came closer, he noticed an ocean themed bag that sat just out of reach of the water so it couldnât get wet but close enough that whoever placed it there could get to it.
Deciding to question that later, Finn crouched down to be on his knees and started to move his hand in the water.
He hoped that Shrimpoâs antenna would pick up on the disturbance in the water and he would swim to the top of the tank.
And he was right!
Not long after he saw an orange and white blob make its way up to his hand, and soon he felt a pressure against his hand as Shrimpoâs head poked out of the water, his tail fully laid back instead of its usual upright position.
It kind of reminded Finn of how some of the employees with long hair would tie it back into a low ponytail.
Due to how Shrimpo came up, Finnâs hand now rested just between his antenna, right where a fluff of white fur was, almost like he was about to give a kid a head pat.
Shrimpoâs eyes werenât fully opened yet, and clearly still tried since the next thing Finn felt he was not expecting.
Without so much as a loud greeting from the shrimp, Finn felt him softly nuzzle his hand and hummed in satisfaction at the contact.
Finn felt his heart die and go to heaven when he saw the action.
âWhat time is it?â Shrimpoâs tired, groggy voice soon followed as he stopped nuzzling the offered glass hand, not even bothering to acknowledge what he just did in his, probably, Finn told himself, sleepy mind.
âOh! Uh..â Finn recovered quickly from the shock and confusion he gained from watching Shimpro do that, his hand having yet moved from its spot on his friendâs head, and looked up to the analog clock hanging on the wall just next to him.
It read 11:45AM.
The presentation wasnât until 1:00PM, which made Finn both calm down and panic more simultaneously.
With a sigh to compose himself, he brought his attention back onto the toon waiting for an answer and replied; âItâs only 11:45, bud.â Shrimpo hummed again and moved closer to the edge, closer to where Finn was sitting.
âAlright, we still got some time to kill.â He said as brought up both of his hands to the mentioned ledge, Finn finally realized he still had a hand placed on his head and lifted it up to give Shrimpo more space.
âWhale,â Finn began, âI was hoping you could tell me why thereâs a bag here..?â He was still very confused on why Shrimpo had gotten this order in the first place, and worried that he wouldn't have time to memorize a whole new presentation before 1 p.m.
Shrimpo looked just as confused as Finn felt before realization crossed his features, âOh, those are nothing for the show today.â Oh thank cod, well that was one worry of his gone, but he still didnât know why they were here to begin with.
Finn hummed at his friendâs words and tried again to get an explanation, âBut why are they here?â He hoped he didnât come across as too âpushyâ, Shrimpo didnât like people poking around in something that was his business and Finn respected that.
Once Shrimpo heard what he asked, all of the leftover tiredness left his face, âItâs uh..â suddenly finding the floor very interesting to look at, Shrimpo couldnât meet Finnâs eyes. Seeing this, he brought up his hand again in mock surrender, âYa donât have to tell me if ya donât want to, bud.â Finn spoke in a steady tone, not wanting to cross a line.
Shrimpo looked at him with a sigh and spoke; âJust been a bit restless lately I guess.â Finn hadnât been expecting that as an answer.
But it did make sense in a way, when Finn thought about it. See, Shrimpo had more qualities similar to that of a shrimp, like how Vee was more mechanical than ichor but still living like the rest of them.
And Shrimpo has been having more and more shoots as of recent due to his growing âpopularityâ, he overheard some directors of the show say one time.
Did that mean Shrimpo needed some form of enrichment?
Gosh, was that why he blew up on Poppy and Brightney the other day? Because he was stressed out?
Finn looked at the bag that he was now thinking might hold the aquatic toys Dyle told him about earlier, then looked to Shrimpo again. âDo ya wanna..â Finn started his question but when Shrimpo finally looked at him, it died on his tongue.
Taking a breath, he tried again; âuse the toys ya got?â He spoke in a soft tone, not wanting Shrimpo to feel like he was making fun of him or something else, he just wanted Shrimpo to feel calm. Happy, even, but he knew that wouldnât be a today thing.
Besides, the presentation wasnât for another good hour, and Shrimpo needed this.
âHow do you know that?â Shrimpo threw back his question at Finn, now looking like he was about to punch him for knowing that.
Well at least he looked more like his usual self, Finn thought with a smile.
âI went to look for you and Dyle told me where to find you.â He told his friend with nothing but truth in his words as he sat down on the floor fully with his legs crossed over each other, a groan escaping him at the action.
He heard Shrimpo grumble a âstupid clockâ before he spoke to Finn again, âI mean, I guess, just donât tell anyone or Iâll kill you, k?â
Finn laughed at his words, he knew Shrimpo wouldn't actually do anything, âWouldnât dream âbout it!â Finn responded with.
Shrimpo moved both arms to push himself out of the water but Finn stopped him, âHere, I can get it so ya donât have to get out!â
Turning his right, where the ocean themed bag sat, he reached over and pulled into his lap and started to grab some of the toys. âThanks, I guess.â Shrimpo said as he watched Finn do this for him, âY-oar welcome!â he said with a calm he hasnât felt since yesterday.
Looking through the bag, he pulled out the mulity-colored diving rings that were on the top, he waved them in front of Shrimpo and asked; âThese ones first?â to which Shrimpo shrugged and said âSure.â The most direct âyesâ one could get from the angry shrimp.
Holding around 5 diving rings in one hand, Finn placed down the bag back in its spot and stood to full height. âReady?â he asked Shrimpo as he took one red ring from his left hand to throw with his right.
Shrimpo pushed off from where he once was to be around in the middle of the water, if that wasnât a silent invitation to throw it, Finn didnât know what was. Wanding his arm back, Finn yelled a quick âChatch!â as he threw it.
When the red ring left his hand, Shrimpo went back under the water and swam around in a few circles before jumping out and catching it with his teeth and falling back into the tank with a splash.
That was both impressive and a little worrying, but Finn wasnât a dentist.
Shrimpo swam back towards the edge of the tank and grabbed the ring out of his mouth with his left hand as his right came to rest on the ledge.
âAnother one?â Finn asked when the ring was fully out of Shrimpoâs mouth, grabbing a yellow ring to throw now, to which Shrimpo answered. âHell yea!â from where he stood.
Finn chuckled at his enthusiasm. It's been awhile since he's seen the shrimp be so open like this, it was nice to see him smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a good bit, Finn thinks around 15 minutes, which means it was just turning 12PM, of throwing the colorful rings for Shrimpo to catch, Finn asks if he wanted to move onto something else instead.
He didnât want this to feel repetitive for his best sea buddy!
âShrimpo?â He called out to make sure he would hear him. âYea?â The shrimp toon looked to him from where he was keeping himself afloat in the water, a green ring in his mouth that made him sound a bit muffled.
âDidja wanna try the other things in here?â Finn made sure to keep the question open ended, Shrimpo hated feeling like he only had one choice.
âSure, I guess.â Shrimpo agreed with a shrug and swam over to Finn, green ring now in his left hand.
Finn crouched down on one knee and held open the bag for Shrimpo to see what he wanted to do next as he came closer.
Placing down the green diving ring on the ledge and off to the side, Shrimpo dug around in the bag until he came across what he wanted.
Unsurprisingly, rather thatâs because he knew Shrimpo so well, something Finn took pride in, or because there wasnât much in the bag, Shrimpo pulled out a handful of the sinker toys.
With both hands palm side up, he held a yellow sea-horse, a blue whale, a purple turtle and finally a pink seal.
âNIce pick!â Finn said with a thumbs-up, Shrimpo snorted with a âDorkass.â as he leaned backwards in the water, placing the sinkers on his chest as if he were a boat himself, ripples in the water following him as he made his way across the tankâs surface water.
Finn smiled to himself as he pulled the bagâs opening to face himself instead of how he had it before, looking inside, Finn saw the last toy resting inside.
It was that battery powered fish toy Dyle mentioned.
The toy itself was a dark purple, almost plum, with lighter purples, a lavender to be exact, around it in a wavy pattern, making it look like when waves on a beach touch the sand. At least, thatâs what Finn thought.
âHey bud?â Finn called out again, looking up from the bag to see Shrimpo now on his stomach looking like he was about to dive downwards and fetch the sinker toys that he dropped down, Shrimpo turned his head to look at Finn, âYeah? The hell is it now?â
Taking the purple toy fish out of the bag with his right hand, his left holding onto the bagâs strap so it wouldnât fall, Finn held it up for Shrimpo to see and asked; âDidja wanna do anything with this today or no?â
Finn knew that if Shrimpo wanted to do something with it he wouldâve taken it out of the bag. But, Finn also knew that Shrimpo had a tendency to overlook things when he set his eyes on another thing.
Past experiences with his best shrimp buddy have taught Finn this well.
Shrimpo looked at the toy held in Finnâs hand, the fisherman couldn't tell what he was thinking as he swam over to him again.
Since Finn was yet to stand from how he was crouched over, Shrimpo had no trouble taking the fish from his hand and tilting down his bowl just enough to place it in there. âThere.â was all that Finn was given as an answer.
Finn watched as Shrimpo disappeared under the water, most likely to finally get those sinkers, shell shocked by what he just saw.
He knew thatâŚgosh, if Shrimpro knew what he was thinking he would deny it all to hell and back, but, Finn has seen for a while how Shrimpo was less âmeanâ to him compared to some of the others, he just didnât think the two of them have grown close enough that Shrimpo had done that willingly.
He knows that makes it sound like he was complaining that Shrimpo had done that but he wasnât!
Finn was surprised that Shrimpo felt comfortable enough to do that, happy that he felt comfortable to do that and another thing that he couldnât quite tell what it was right now.
Reaching into his bowl as he stood, Finn pulled the toy out carefully, and held it in his hand and stared at it for a moment.
Finn didnât know what made Shrimpo think, let alone act on the thought!, of putting the purple striped fish toy in his head, but Finn knew that it made him feel happy when looking at it.
Smiling to himself, Finn placed the toy back into his bowl, sat the bag down back to where it was when he first got there and sat down on the ledge, his glass feet dangling in the tankâs water.
Finn was glad that he found Shrimpo here.

Chapter 34: And we hear different sounds then the heartless do, wakeful at night looking everywhere for you. Why do I look up to you?
~~~*~~~*~~~~*~~~
Builderman had tried to help, and yet, he still failed.
Now, another one of his admins was hurt, when he could have done something to prevent it.
Anything to prevent this.
He heard the cries, cries he would never forget, come from his fellow Admins and team members alike. And especially from Dusekkar, one of his oldest friends.
âGO TO THE CLOSET AND BRING BACK SOME DISINFECTMENT AND BANDAGES!!â Elliot, ever the team healer, shouted out orders like no other as he and Guest tried to hold Dusekkar from thrashing too much and further harm himself or others.
Builderman almost found it funny as he watched the scene unfold in front of him.
When he would get called to the pizzeria to deal with an unruly Hacker, he would more often than not see Elliot helping any injured co-workers while he and another Admin or Mod would deal with the Hacker.
âItâll be okay, Builds.â The head Admin didnât even realize that Shedletsky was behind him or that his sword fighting friend was leading him out to the front porch with a steady hand on his shoulder.
Or that there were warm tears streaming down his face like a waterfall until the coldness of the eternal night air greeted him.
The sounds of cries and yelling distantly faded into the night air as the door shut gently behind the two. Shedlestkay led him to sit down on the well worn wooden steps like he was guiding anyone else but the criminal that Builder was sure he was now.
The Head Admin briefly looked over to his best friend, the man had yet to sit down like Builder was currently.
Builderman didnât know if he should break the tense silence, but it seemed he didnât need to. âWhat really happened?â Shedlatsky spoke first, the tone soft, Builder was taken aback by his question for a moment.
âWhat..?â He threw back more as a question rather than an answer without thinking.
Shedletsky finally moved to sit down beside him on the steps instead of standing and repeated, âWhat really happened.â But, this time, there was no room for argument, his voice firm.
He wanted an answer from Builderman himself.
But, the Head Admin froze, he didnât know what he should say to him.
He knew that he needed to talk about this, he knew he couldnât ignore his past actions anymore.
His âdealâ was now well known about and the others no doubt wanted answers from him too, but he was lost.
Even though it was only Shedletsky with him.
How could he face telling the others, Dusekkar, if he froze with the one person he trusted the most to tell anything to?
âI..â As silent tears continued to stream down his face, then to his chin, and until they finally reached his grey hoodie.
Shedletsky was patient with him. Builderman was grateful for that.
â--------------------------------------------
Taph failed her pumpkin. His sweet, loving, kind and courageous pumpkinâŚ.they failed him.
Dusekkar was now writhing in pain on the floor of the main cabin, holding his head as he screamed bloody murder, all while the only thing they could do was stand there.
Even as he watched Elliot and Guest help Dusekkar, and Noob running off to go get medical supplies, Taph stayed standing still there.
Her eyes never once leaving Dusekkarâs form as she stood still.
âBirdy?â A distant voice made its way past their hazy mind, Taph was shocked back to reality as a hand gently placed itself on their right shoulder.
Looking to his right, she was greeted by the concerned face of the resident gambler, who was flipping their coin absent mindedly in his other hand.
Taph tilted their head to the side to convey her confusion instead of singing.
He could feel his hands shaking far too much for that.
âYa wanna get some fresh air?â Chance asked in a concerned tone, it looks like someone didnât miss TaphâsâŚ..lack of presence. And to that? She was thankful.
The Admin nodded his head slowly, trying to be steady due to their shaking. Chance nodded back to them and said; âAlright, letâs go then.â
Before Taph or Chance could realize, her hand made its way to Chanceâs, and all Chance did was give it a gentle squeeze. Something to help ground him.
Again, Taph was thankful for Chance helping them.
â--------------------------------------------
Guest had failed to protect his teammates.
He was a soldier, someone whoâs supposed to protect others, but Dusekkar was hurt. And he was standing right there when it happened.
He could have done something.
âGUEST! HELP ME GET HIM RESTRANED!â A clear yell of his name from among the terrified screams got him to snap out of his thoughts.
âMAKE SURE HE DOESNâT HARM HIMSELF FURTHER!!â It was Elliot, he saw, giving out the orders, go figure.
Guest supposed working in the kitchen, and having hackings almost daily, would equip someone with good knowledge on how to bandage wounds and what to do when someone was hurt and thrashing about.
Giving a silent nod to the pizza worker, he went to grab Dusekkarâs arms from behind the Admin.
Now, Guest would often advise Robloxians to not grab someone in a clear panic from behind them, but since the wound was on his face, and the only way to get closer and get it treated, would be to not have arms or legs trashing and hitting theâŚ
Would anyone really be considered a âmedicâ here? Sure, Elliot was the team's healer but could he be a medic? Maybe a field medic but Guest still wasnât sure-
THWAK!
A heavy kick to his legs, which really did nothing to move him in all honestly, made him focus again.
Right, he was needed, no time to focus on anything else other than helping Elliot treat and bandage Dusekkarâs wound.
Guest hoped that once Dusekkar came to, he wouldnât be mad at him for doing this.
Telamon, he wished he did something sooner.
â--------------------------------------------
Elliot was an awful team healer.
He should have stepped in to help Taph get everyone to calm down in that last round.
He should have been able to be the voice of reason when Builderman couldnât be that anymore.
Elliot should have reached out to Builder and gotten him to listen to him. Maybe then this could have never happened.
âH-here!â Noob came rushing back with the spare medkit from the kitchen closest, already getting out the disinfectant and bandages ready for Elliot to use.
He took the offered supplies and thanked Noob quickly, Guest could only restrain Dusekkar for so long, he needed to act fast and now.
Dabbing the disinfectant onto a clean white cloth from the medkit, Elliot apologized to Dusekkar silently as he applied it to the wound.
âAHHHHHHâ Dusekkar cried out louder than ever before, his screams bathed the cabin in pure, unrestrained agony and despair.
It hurt to hear. And Elliot was sure that Guest and Noob thought the same if their faces were anything to off of.
As he moved the cloth from the Adminâs face, he briefly wondered if this wasâŚfunny to someone, a far more cruel joke then just the normal rounds with survival being the only thing to focus on.
He felt his blood simmer with anger at the thought. How? How could someone be so cruel to another living being?
Elliot almost found it funny, once he thought the same thing about Seven. Back when the name â007n7â brought nothing but annoyance to him.
But, this was a different kind of cruel.
Seven, even though exploiting, never caused physical harm to him, to anyone at the pizzeria. Sure a bit of traumatizing Robloxians here and there, but he never spilled blood.
In all of Elliotâs years working at the pizzeria and dealing with Seven, he recalls never once seeing blood. He never went as far as harming someone for his personal enjoyment.
Elliot never realized how that made Seven so different from other Hackers or Exploiters before.
He would always hear stories from Builder, Shedletsky and sometimes even Doombringer about how if an Exploiter was left to their vices for too long it would turn them into a ruthless Hacker.
Which was why Doombringer was the âLord of the Banlandsâ, he overheard Shedletsky say once as the Admins waited on their pizza to be done.
Elliot always thought their words meant something along the lines of code corruption.
As if the exploiting they took oh such delight in was the very thing destroying them and, if biology class taught him anything, that was technically true but he felt like he was missing something with that.
Seven was considered a âHackerâ by Mods and Admins alike, but he never went as far as âruthlessâ like other Hackers he would hear about. Even when he thought he would pop a blood vessel from annoyance alone.
It was weird to think about. On one hand, was what he taught not true? Or, did Seven not reach a âbreaking pointâ so to speak?
Maybe once this all died down a bit he could ask the Admins about this.
â--------------------------------------------
Two Time didnât mean to flee when a team member needed as much help as possible, but they couldnât stay there for a moment longer.
The sound of leaves crunching under their steps and the wind rushing past their ears were the only sounds they could hear besides their own racing heart.
They just couldnât be there anymore.
You mustn't forget yourself, Time.
A calm voice broke through the silence, clearing the haze for a moment just long enough to stop them from running.
Taking a breath, effectively calming themselves, they looked around to where they ran off to in their state of panic.
The trees swayed in the wind gently, same as the wild flowers and tall grass alike. They recognized this arrangement of plants.
âHmm.â Humming to themself, it looked like they were near Sevenâs personal cabin. If they kept walking forward they were sure to meet with it.
Looking behind them, to the path that led to the other cabins, where screams of agony were to be no doubt, they briefly wondered if they should head back orâŚgo to Sevenâs cabin and calm down for a bit.
Turning their attention onto themselves, they felt their hands tremble and shake without a care if the person wanted to use them at all.
A prayer in the dear Hackerâs cabin could help.
The familiar soft sounding voice guided them to a decision they knew would be good for them. So, they were going to do just that.
Turning back to the direction of Sevenâs personal cabin, Two Time walked with a tremble in every step they took but they needed to do this.
For if they wanted the dear Hacker returned to them, they had to pray for his safe return. They had to make sure Spawn would guide him back to them all safely.
Two Time owed it to him after all he has done for them.
