I finally finished a portrait of on of my new OCs! Meet Sixx! He's kind of the prototype for a new concept I'm working on that involves ex-soviet super soldiers, Cold War espionage/assassinations, nuclear fallout, and a soldier trying to find a place in a world he doesn't quite fit into anymore. He's one of many genetically mutated super soldiers designed by the Soviet Union to act as extremely agile shock troops and assassins. The Wraiths. They have advanced senses, super strength/speed/reflexes, accelerated healing/regeneration, night vision, the ability to see radiation as if it were infared (like a snake), the ability to store up and emit ionizing radiation from his body, produce EMP blasts, the ability to emit a cloud of radioactive fog, and black radioactive blood/tears that can poison attackers. The downside is that his body cannot survive without access to a source of radiation. Normally, this would be solved with a gas mask rebreather attached to tanks of radon or xenon gas while on extended assignments but after the fall of the USSR the Wraith Program was disbanded. They get all of their energy from nuclear material so they don't need to eat but they do require water, they need only a few hours of sleep a week, their eyes are sensitive to bright light so it's difficult for them to function outside during the day. Most Wraiths were sold to to powerful government/military officials around the world but some did go AWOL. These strays can usually be found in areas of high radioactive contamination or abandoned uranium mines. Sixx has made himself rather comfortable in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. They have kind of become an urban legend in Eastern Europe with locals telling stories of "the dead soldiers that haunt the ruins". Most Wraiths prefer to be left alone so sightings are rare.
