In this version obviously Jinu gets his magic demon powers and marks without needed to leave his family, and he gets to stay above the honmoon.

Both brothers had lots of talent as storytellers, Kubo as a storyteller that used magic paper and Jinu as a musical storyteller that used his powers from Gwi-Ma. Kubo inherited his powers with the guitar from his mother, where Jinu possessed the same sword skills as their father.

Jinu is very protective over Kubo as both have to take care of their mother and work to make money for food.

Jinu used his powers along with Kubo's to help defeat the moonking, although Jinu had to work harder to forgive their grandfather.

When the first hunters were born and used their singing to control the honmoon, Kubo helped to teach the next generations, until his passing, and train them how to use their voices to summon their powers. In this version, Jinu also uses his powers for good.

Jinu is JEALOUS when they find out Kubo can fly. Then he finds out he can levitate and is ecstatic.

It's a fond joke for a while that they had a beetle for a dad.

Kubo was a mama's boy because she was all he knew, even though technically he met his dad in beetle form, because he didn't remember, and then when he regained his memory, he died. (Thought it was sweet how the boys got to briefly see their parents fall back in love). Jinu was always closer with his father because he was alive long enough to remember him, and they would play spar together.

Jinu was ready to KILL his aunt for trying to hurt Kubo, and he did assist in her death. Absolutely mother henned over him afterward as they were going through the shock of their parent's deaths.

They're half-siblings after Zoey's parents divorced and remarried. Zoey and Abby lived together, travelling between Toronto and Burbank to stay with either their dad or mom.

Zoey got into Huntr/x after going to one of those kpop trainee programs that was secretly an operation run by Celine to scout the strongest singers to keep the Hon Moon alive.

Zoey was SO excited and sad when she got to debut with the rest of Huntr/x because it meant leaving her little sister alone for long periods of time, but she gifted Abby a phone with the money she made from her breakout concert, so they could always stay in contact.

A La Kim Sertori, Abby finds out pretty quick that Zoey is now a Demon Hunter, and she is SO jealous; so when her friend gains the ability to turn into a red panda she brags about it to Zoey as soon as Mei lets her tell.

She of course bribed Zoey into taking her on one of her tours over summer break with her friends, and everyone said how Priya was like Mira's little sister, and the two of them got really close.

Zoey is so proud of Abby when she hears how she helped restore balance and save the world at the 4Town Concert.
