In the beginning of April I was feeling the blues, and the only thing that could cheer me up was rewatching the Mamma Mia movies on repeat!

They’re literally the definition of my kind of comfort movie! What can get better than Abba music and Greece combined?! 🥹❤️‍🩹

I began working on this piece back in April, bit as usual I always manage to start new projects to finish first, before actually finishing my already half completed projects! Oh well! At least it means I can finish and post a lot of stuff a shorter span of time!😅

Never posted this on here before for some reason, but I recently made this painting of my bestie!

These are sooo fun to make! And as I finish more and more ones (I have so many in the making… Coming soon so stay tuned!) it’s so nice to see how they all interact with each other, and how nicely they improve the others!

The idea is that these are highly inspired by illuminated medieval manuscripts, as well as whimsical illustrated storybook pages!

Angel Cake Portrait 💫🍰🌿

I recently started rewatching the old Strawberry Shortcake series and it made me feel so nostalgic that I just had to make some fanart of it! I’m very much planning to make many more of these type of character portraits of the Strawberry Shortcake characters, but in my style, and with slightly different takes on the characters.

First up in this new series is Angel Cake!

Character design wise, I just love how the sleeves kind of look like piping/pastry bags for cake icing/frosting! It’s just so in theme for her character! She just looks so sweet! Almost as sweet as sugar (no pun intended!😅).
