swifties that think they’re superior for saying all too well is overrated are the weakest link and will be the first to die when society decides to go ahead and wipe out swifties in their entirety. you think you’re too good for “autumn leaves falling down like pieces into place?” do you really hear “you taught me ‘bout your past thinking your future was me” and think that you’re somehow ABOVE that? is pretending like “maybe we got lost in translation maybe i asked for too much but maybe this thing was a masterpiece til you tore it all up” doesn’t rip out your heart REALLY going to get people to like you? you think god is going to let you into heaven because you denied the brilliance of “you call me up again just to break me like a promise so casually cruel in the name of being honest?” are you actually convinced that “time won’t fly it’s like i’m paralyzed by it, i’d like to be my old self again, but i’m still trying to find it” doesn’t deserve all the hype it gets? is the brief flash of moral superiority you feel after insulting ”plaid shirt days and nights when you made me your own, now you mail back my things and i walk home alone but you keep my old scarf from that very first week ‘cause it reminds you of innocence, and it smells like me” worth admitting that you’ve never felt love? just what are you trying to prove for hating on “cause there we are again when i loved you so, back before you lost the one real thing you’ve ever known?” because if you’re trying to prove that you care more about seeming cool than ever experiencing any emotions then you have succeeded.
