i found an old journal that is mirroring my life.

i thought the cycle was broken

i fear i leave a bitter taste

so i add some sugar

but i added to much and it filled my plate

is it not what you were looking for

should i have the waiter send it back?

people are eager to get a taste

just to chew me up and spit me back out

but i cant recall my happiest day.

i dont remember if i have amnesia,

but its easy to remember all the reasons not to stay.

what do you call amnesia

when its only taken the happy few

how do you stop amnesia

i am left in misery to wonder why im in this cycle.

there is no chance to escape, im tangled in my own flesh and blood.
