“There is that, yeah. Though, if you kept it short enough you could keep the aesthetic without the heat being as much of an issue?” She tilted her head. ”Then again, that kind of maintenance would be hell.”

“Tell me about it. Although shaving is a pain in the ass because my face is so sensitive. Every time I do it, I break out for a good few days before it calms down.”

“Exactly. So fi it wasn’t Kurt approved, it wouldn’t exist.” She grinned with laugh. “See, there you go. It’s what I do with my hair. Let the fuzz grow out until it’s too long and then take it back down.”

“You are so right.” Blaine laughed softly at her before nodding. “That is what I am going to do! Let’s hope it isn’t too thick when I do actually have to cut it. Can you imagine the struggle of breaking a razor with this thing?”

“If you start making sexual comments, I’ll puke. Besides, why is embarrassing your kids part of the job? It sucks.” 

“Don’t worry, you are good.” He told her before laughing. “I don’t know. I think it’s in the parent handbook. We all learn it when we have our first kid.”

“Aww, but the scruff looks good on you.” D chuckled. “And let’s be real, if Kurt didn’t like it, you’d never have been allowed to grow it.”

“You know, you have a very good point. I have never been able to tell that man no. He also knows just what to say or do that makes me agree.” Blaine chuckled. “I guess I should keep it till I end up needing to shave it. Right now I like looking scruffy.”

“well… you know my mom.. when i was little, i didn’t really like singing or theater. so i pretended i couldn’t sing so that i never felt pressured to. and as i got older, i enjoyed it. but i guess it’s hard to know if i will ever truly be talented or if people only say so because of who my parents are.” she explained to blaine.

“I get it, of course. They are talented but maybe when you are auditioning for things in the future, use a stage name or don’t use your last name, like Madonna.” Blaine suggested. “Don’t worry though, I am judging you on yourself and your own voice, not your parents. You should audition for glee club if you like singing. We could use a voice like your’s.”

“I mean, the scruff could be worse? So, who knows, right?” Clarissa shrugged with a grin. “And it can’t be that bad if the hubby hasn’t objected yet.”

“That’s what I figured. I just know as it gets hotter, my face is going to regret it if I don’t shave it all off. It would be a mess and just hot.”

angela pretty much jumped back in her seat when she heard blaine’s voice. if she knew that someone was going to come in she wouldn’t be here right now. especially someone who is close to her mom. “no one does, not my parents, siblings, or any of my friends.” she admitted to blaine.

“Why wouldn’t you want to share that with anyone? You should have been in Glee from the beginning with a voice like that!” Blaine told her before going over to the piano and leaning against it. “What’s going on?” He asked curiously.

“Ew, can we not talk about Dad liking your ‘scruff’…why do parents insist on grossing out their kids? Is it some kind of ritual?”

“Oh, relax child. I was just making a joke, it’s not like I was being sexual in any way.” Blaine told her. “I don’t know? I know embarrassing them is.”

“You look like you are growing out your hair to play Cousin IT on a Broadway version of Addams Family.”

“You know, that wouldn’t be a bad thing. I think it would be fun playing Cousin IT.”
