⚜️ E finalmente posso condividervi questo pezzo che, come sapete, era nato per uno scopo che è mutato esattamente il giorno dopo. ⚜️
Questo disegno era nato in vista del 𝟏𝟒 𝑳𝒖𝒈𝒍𝒊𝒐, il giorno più importante della storia francese. 🇫🇷
Come l'anno precedente volevo regalare un omaggio a una storia che a distanza di anni ancora mi fa emozionare come la prima volta. 🎆
⚜️ In realtà l'idea è nata grazie a un suggerimento ricevuto più volte da @elenartee che in più occasioni aveva espresso il desiderio di una fan art di 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓 e 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒂 e mi era sembrata l'occasione giusta per realizzare questo piccolo desiderio.

⚜️ Hanno mostrato due facce della stessa medaglia. Hanno mostrato come l'educazione e il ruolo possano essere un punto di forza ma anche debolezza. Hanno mostrato due sfaccettature diverse dell'amore verso l'amato, la patria, e la propria persona. 🌹
⚜️ 𝑵𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒖𝒏𝒂 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆 𝒅𝒖𝒆, 𝒏𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒊 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊 𝒑𝒆𝒈𝒈𝒊𝒐𝒓𝒊 𝒔𝒊 𝒆' 𝒅𝒂𝒗𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒂. 𝑭𝒊𝒏𝒄𝒉𝒆' 𝒏𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒐 𝒆𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒐 𝒍'𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒐.
Sono due donne che raccontano una storia da due campane diverse, eppure perfettamente intrecciate e una l'effetto dell'altra.
Sono sempre state un esempio di amicizia per me e che mi hanno sempre fatto pensare quanto sarebbe bello vivere un'amicizia così e quanto sia fortunata ad avere amiche leali e sincere come Oscar lo era con Maria Antonietta e viceversa.
Rappresentarle nel momento dell'addio, un addio imposto e non voluto, mi ha fatto sempre pensare a quanto sia triste e dilaniante il momento in cui le fasi della vita ci portano, spesso senza accorgerci, a vivere l'ultimo momento insieme per poi vivere in un "𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒐 𝒅𝒊 𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒊"

⚜️ And finally, I can share this piece with you, which, as you know, was born for a purpose that changed exactly the next day. ⚜️
This drawing was conceived in anticipation of 𝑱𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝟏𝟒𝒕𝒉, the most important day in French history. 🇫🇷
Like the previous year, I wanted to pay homage to a story that, years later, still moves me as much as the first time.🎆
⚜️ The idea actually came from a suggestion I'd received several times from @elenartee, who had expressed a desire for fan art of 𝑳𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝑶𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓 and 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒆 𝑨𝒏𝒕𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆 on several occasions, and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to make this little wish come true.
𝑊𝘩𝑒𝑛 𝐼 𝑡𝘩𝑖𝑛𝑘 𝑜𝑓 𝑡𝘩𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑡𝑤𝑜 𝑤𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛, 𝑡𝘩𝑒 𝑟𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑉𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑎𝑖𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑠, 𝐼 𝑐𝑎𝑛'𝑡 𝘩𝑒𝑙𝑝 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑒𝑛𝑣𝑦 𝑡𝘩𝑒𝑖𝑟 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠𝘩𝑖𝑝. 𝐵𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑡 𝑜𝑛 𝑟𝑒𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑙𝑜𝑦𝑎𝑙𝑡𝑦, 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑤𝘩𝑒𝑛 𝑖𝑑𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑠 𝑝𝑢𝑡 𝑡𝘩𝑒𝑚 𝑎𝑔𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑡 𝑒𝑎𝑐𝘩 𝑜𝑡𝘩𝑒𝑟.
They showed two sides of the same coin; they showed how education and role can be a strength but also a weakness. They showed two different facets of love for their beloved, their country, and themselves. 🌹
⚜️ 𝑵𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎, 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔, 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒍𝒚 𝒈𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒖𝒑. 𝑼𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒍 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕.
They are two women who tell a story from two different sides, yet perfectly intertwined, each reflecting the other.
They have always been an example of friendship for me, and they have always made me think how wonderful it would be to experience a friendship like that, and how lucky I am to have friends as loyal and sincere as Oscar was with Marie Antoinette, and vice versa.
Picture them at the moment of farewell, a forced and unwanted farewell, has always made me think of how sad and heartbreaking it is when life's phases lead us, often without realizing it, to experience our last moment together and then live in a state of "𝑰 𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒆𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏."
