A True Alpha’s Summit
A True alpha’s summit
Scott receives an invitation to a council meeting he didn't even know he was a member of. He also gets a crash course in werewolf politics, something he definitely never wanted.
Another chapter. Tell me if you like it. Don’t forget, comments keep a writer writing.
I have no Beta and English is not my mother language so there will be mistakes.
I do expressly not give my permission to use my stories for AI training.
Chapter 8
Two days later, Scott and his pack were standing on the raised platform behind the large wooden armchair where Scott would later take his place on the council.
Scott had been quite busy in the meantime, as Martha hadn't been the only alpha among his allies who wanted to meet him in person. Nor was she the only alpha who had set up camp next to his after their meeting.
Francisco Negroni
I hate how easily Scott throws Stiles under the bus and never gives him the benefit of the doubt. Ik it’s all supernatural but I’ve had so many friends like that where you’ve known them for so long yet they never defend you the moment anyone dislikes you
This take is so stupid and wrong it's actually hilarious.
When damn near everyone wanted to kill Stiles to destroy the Nogitsune Scott was one of the very few who wouldn't let that happen.
Scott throws Stikes under the bus.
From Battlefield (2x11):
Stiles: Scott, the other night seeing my dad get hit over the head by Matt, you know, while I'm just lying there and I can't even move, it just - I want to help, you know, but I can't do the things that you can do. I can't - Scott: It's okay.
From Silverfinger (3x17):
Scott: I don't want to sound like I'm trying to tell you that you're wrong. But I don't think you're trying to kill people either.
From Letharia Vulpina (3x19):
Stiles: Okay, I know what you guys are thinking, but it's me. I swear to God, it's me. Ethan and Aiden go to attack Stiles. Scott: Wait, stop! I said, stop!
or later that same episode:
Stiles: I could have killed him. I could have killed him, right? What if it was his head or his throat? Scott: But it wasn't. And he's going to be all right.
Well, obviously, the OP is referring to Lies of Omission (5x09), right?
Theo: I saw Donovan go down. Stiles hit him with the wrench, and then, he just, he just kept hitting him. Uh, maybe it was because he... He threatened to kill his dad. Or maybe Stiles thought he had to keep going to defend himself, but he just... He kept hitting him. Scott: That's not possible.
What I suspect @perfectionightmare means is that Scott didn't do as he was told. At least I have to guess, since the OP never actually bothered to say when Scott "so easily threw Stiles under the bus."
I mean, it's hard for me to figure out when that happened, since it's not like Scott mocked Stiles in front of Stiles's enemies (like Stiles mocked Scott to Peter in Code Breaker (1x12)). It's not like Scott stood there and let someone lie to Scott, like Stiles let Theo lie to Scott in Strange Frequencies (5x07). It's not like Scott made a deal with someone he knew was planning to kill Stiles in order to protect someone else Scott loves, like Stiles did in Status Asthmaticus (5x10).
I know, we're supposed to let the OP have their casually racist opinions because it's about fictional characters and it was so long ago. We can literally watch Stiles lie and abandon Scott on the screen, but we're supposed to let them say that Scott is a cheap friend, because Stiles is such a poor boy, he had no other choice but to do it, while we literally watch Scott's love of Stiles was so powerful he literally fought the Wild Hunt for him, but hey, it's all good.
No. I'm not going to be quiet. Stiles and Scott were both in terrible 'supernatural' situations but that excuse is only good for one of them for some particular reason.
BUT IT'S NOT RACISM.
I was mainly saying how out of character and weird it was for Scott (who was supposed to be the leader and everything) to immediately trust Theo, someone whom he barely knows, instead of Stiles. It’s rlly not that deep I apologize for my wording bc I can see how vague I was being, I watched the first two seasons like two years ago so my memory kinda sucks but it’s really not that serious
Except that Scott did NOT immediately trust Theo.
He checked with Deaton to see if Theo might be after his power. He didn't stop Stiles from investigating Theo.
He didn't immediately let Theo join the pack.
He just didn't throw him out for no reason just based on Stiles paranoia. Because Stiles had zero evidence that Theo was up to something. And Stiles is well established as a terrible judge of character. Since Stiles has distrusted every single new friend Scott has made.
When Theo told Scott about Stiles killing Donovan, Scott instantly said he wanted Stiles side of things.
It's not Scott's fault that Stiles pretty much confirmed Theo's version of events. Without even checking what Thro had told Scott.
It's not Scott's fault that Stiles trusted Theo over Scott, that Stiles kept quiet about Theo killing Josh, and didn't tell Scott what happened with Donovan.
Or that Stiles didn't warn Scott that Theo was coming to kill him what makes him complicit in Scott's murder. Which is not often enough talked about for my taste and he never faced consequences for it.
They never did explain how Noshiko (a centuries old kitsune) physically aged more since WWII than Satomi (a regular bitten werewolf). Because that has potentially insane implications for werewolf aging and life spans
My headcanon was always that Noshiko hadn't really aged before the nogitsune incident. She'd just been 17 for a long time. She had a childlike innocence before that despite the horrors around her. The events of Oak Creek, however, aged her, following the show's theme that your internal sense of self (and its trauma) is reflected in your body.
My other headcanon, though, is that she met Ken: in him, she found someone she wanted to grow old with, so she did!
Satomi's aging process (and Deucalion's) def suggests werewolves can life for a crazy long time, though. Alas, most of them die as teen wolves...
I mean it would be logical that werewolves age so slow. They heal from everything and what is aging than a very drown out injury again and again.

Top 5 teen wolf guys
scott mccall
theo raeken
derek hale
isaac lahey
liam dunbar
ask games
I would put Derek last but otherwise is the order right for me.
even when he plays human characters he feels distinctly inhuman and i love that about him
Teen Wolf AU - Stiles is killed by the Oni instead of Allison
I would have loved that. If there a character who deserved to die it is Stiles and not Allison.

If you have a fucked up sicknasty fanfic you've been thinking about sharing but are unsure, this post is your sign to run to AO3 and Just Do It: 1. Someone somewhere wants to read it. Even if it's only one person, that person matters
2. Your creativity matters and so does your ability to share it
3. Serial harassers in fandom spaces are beginning to express discomfort that sites like AO3 completely strip their ability to do anything about fic they don't like, sometimes going as far as leaving entire fandoms due to the influx of "problematic fiction without a chance for consequences to the author". Posting your fanworks to AO3 actively contributes to making harassers feel unsafe and powerless in fandom
4. Militant anti-fanfic content creators also cannot do anything about fic posted to AO3
5. You can post anonymously to AO3, with the ability to de-anonymize at any time
6. You can moderate comments before making them visible on your fic, restrict comments to logged-in users only, or turn off comments altogether, meaning you can post anonymously and completely turn off comments if you choose
Why I love AO3 so much. No site feels safer and makes it so easy to ignore those who harass you.
Elijah Mikaelson is so special to me because for 3 seasons of tvd you think he's the perfect suave gentlemen who rips out hearts without staining his suit then he gets to New Orleans in The Originals and you realise he's the cuntiest little man on the planet, is knee deep in pussy at any given century and is always about 5 seconds away from going absolutely feral
idgaf what anyone says, elijah is the main character of the originals. HE is the star of that show. oh daniel gillies the man that you are 😩
