Make Love and War!!! (Guild War tips)
“I just join this guild for fun...” (YEAH RIGHT!!!)
Tell it to your mom... As much as I enjoy chatting with guild mates... I love WINNING as well... We all do... But... But... But... We lose... Then, we try avoiding it despite the inevitability...
What is our purpose of winning every single guild attack?!
To win guild war points. These guild war points are used to buy 4* rainbowmons, Almighty scrolls for Ifrit, Almighty scrolls for missing pieces of HoH. Yes! we can re-summon past HoH units! Also, scrolls for fusion material units. That is why we need to win! See rewards at guild shop.
How to win?
To win. Attacking guild should bring down the attacked guild to 29% of total HP.
How many won battles need to win a guild attack?
20 members are given 3 chances of attacks. Each attack has 2 battles. Therefore, there are 120 battles. Attacking guild needs to win at least 75 battles. So, every win is needed. Winning a guild war will earn all guildies gw points aside from gw points earned during attacks.
How to win every attacks?
Prepare yourself!
Assess one’s self’s strength. Strength in terms of Arena Offense. If you are currently Fighter 3, you are there for some reasons---(reserving link for “how to improve in arena”). Attack against your levels or below you. Never higher (yet).
“Ever wonder why you are not matched with conqueror 2 when you are still fighter 3? Because you can hardly defeat them.”
Choose your opponents wisely. Just like in guild war or in any war, you choose your battles. Battles that you can win! Therefore, attack those ranks lower than you or at par with you. Don’t be tricked by AD of people who have higher ranks than you because they will crush you! Also, don’t get intimidated by nat born 5* in your levels, they might not be runed properly.
Tip from Guna: Check your opponent’s battle log---“If he has a lot of Defense Failures, his defense probably sucks!”
Simulate the battle. In attacking, you always put monsters that’ll favor you. Natural counters. Then make a simulation in your mind what will happen.
Things to consider in simulation: (simulation is not the actual battle, but how you foresee the battle)
Speed of units. Who will attack first? This is very crucial. These speed leaders ONLY give +19 speed with tyron and +24 with izaria and shimitae. Don’t get easily intimidated. If you are going to be outspedt, prepare what to do.
The most threat in Defense. This always varies. Sometimes a healer is the threat, sometimes the attacker. But most of the times, the def breaker. Make an Attack group that revolves on countering the main threat. During the battle. Kill it first.
Sustainability. Always bring a healer or resser or anyone that’ll help you survive long battles. This is your back-up plan.
BE WISE ON BATTLES. You have 3 attacks. Each consisting of 2 battles. Attack the one who you think you can defeat the easiest first to avoid unit losses. Remember: you can’t use the dead units for your next 2 attacks. QUIT THE BATTLE if you’re going to lose a very useful unit. During your last attack, attack with all your hearts out!!! Do or die!!! Nothing to lose anymore...
BIG NO-NO’s in Guild War
Never defeat OUR purpose of winning just because of greed and ego and cowardice!!! We all want that guild war points. So coordinate.
GREED. The most difference in guild war points in every attack from the strongest to weakest it +6 in every attack... Not even worthy enough to cause the guild losing a guild attack. So choose wisely for the greater good. Losing a guild attack won’t give massive guild war points as well. Winning one will cover those petty +6 guild war points difference.
Example: You attack a +0 Defense. You won 2 battles. You get 10 gw points. You destroy 51%(5%) of total HP, that’s 2.55%!!! But if you try to attack those which are higher than you like +3 Defense, you might get +16 gw points if you win.  But if you don’t... you lose all 6 monsters! you have no gw points in that attack! and you threaten guild’s chance to win.
EGO. Over confidence and not enough preparation for attacks. One must stay calm and keen always during attacks. Never underestimate the ability of RNG to ruin your attacks even if AD seems easy. Always take it slow and certain.
COWARDICE. You attack the higher ranks because AD looks weaker than those of with  your ranks. Aw! “I’d rather not attack anymore... Or...” How about “NO”?! Stay calm and collected and think. You can do it!
How to Improve in Attacking
Ever wonder why Guna almost always win? Because she has a lot of utilities to do it!!!
But I only have 4 6* monsters?!
This means that all your monsters(ones that you prepare for 6*-ing or to make good use) should be temporarily worked upon. This is a necessity. Awakened. Runed at least 4* (you can farm these in hell dungeons) and powered up +9 at most. This doesn’t cost a lot but gives more. This will help you become versatile in attacking... Don’t be afraid bringing a 5* max having temporary runes in attack especially when it is a natural counter.
PRO TIP: RUNE YOUR MONSTERS PROPERLY!!!
