Római karlendítés, vagy sem, azoknak, akik nem hiszik el, vagy nem értik, amit látnak, érdemes megnézniük a U.S.A.I.D nevű segélyszervezet lerombolását. Ez az az intézmény, amelyik rizst ad az éhezőknek, oltást az anélkül amúgy lárifári bacikba belehaló gyerekeknek. Ha semmi másért, semmilyen humánus, az emberi együttérzés, és empátiát nélkülöző okból nem akarunk segíteni nálunk kiszolgáltatottabb embereknek, akkor talán a “migrációs nyomás” elkerülése végett mégis érdemes normálisan viselkednünk. Mert menekülni akkor menekülnek el tömegek, ha nem sikerül a lepusztított bolygó, és tömeggyilkos diktátoroknak hátrahagyott gyarmatok iszonyát se felszámolni, se értelmes mértékben enyhíteni.

Persze akik szerint a feketék üldözik az évtizedeken át őket a legbrutálisabban elnyomó, a termőföldeket szinte az utolsó fűszálig ma is birtokló Dél-afrikai fehéreket, azoknak én nem hiszem el, hogy római volt a falóban.

One of my close family member passed away recently. Her condition, she became aware of it too late, deteriorated so rapidly that actually no one had a chance to meet and talk to her anymore without constantly being sedated. Her pain was unbearable. I never talked to her after her last, brief visit at us when she seemed only to have a joint infection in her shoulder. As far as I understand the pain in her shoulder was caused by multiple myeloma.

During the spring and summer I photographed insects, butterflies and birds when I took the kids for an excursion. It is and it was sort of a refuge for all of us after loosing their grandmother.

I realized that one of the tiniest butterflies we encountered had similar colors to the eyes of my mother-in-law. This little creature became part of the process of mourning. And its suspected presence made the excursions quite scary too.
