Being Best Friends with the Class 1A Girls

A/N: Happy Women’s Day! I wanted to post this to celebrate all the beautiful and incredible women in the real world by celebrating some awesome female characters. I love the bnha girls, they are all brimming with personality and their friendships are beautiful. Forget about old stereotypes of women not getting along or being catty or fighting over boys, there is nothing better than pure friendship between girls.

+ The best group of girls ever. 

+ You came in your first day of class, and all the girls just clicked and only got closer over time. Like sure, most of the guys in class are pretty cool too and there are other friend groups, but the girls surpasses all the other cliques.

+ Oh, Mina was gonna go hang out with Kaminari and Kirishima and the rest of the Bakusquad somewhere, well she cancels last minute because she noticed something was off with you and now she’s spending the day cheering you up.

+ You were going to go out to do some errands, but you drop it immediately when you hear Momo express her insecurities about underperforming as a recommendation student, to remind her how awesome she is.

+ Like, this is a sisterhood.

+ Now let’s talk about all the girls as friends separately.

+ Ochaco wrote the girl code. The friendships she has with you and the rest of the girls is sacred and you can always rely on Ochaco if you need her. 

+ She is the most physically affectionate friend. She wants hugs all day long, and she loves to give you hugs or cuddle when your sitting together.

+ Sometimes you two will just be on the same bs as each other. The two of you will just have the same thought, look across the room at each other, and just begin telepathically communicating with each other despite neither of you two have a quirk to do so. You two are two halves of the same idiot.

+ If someone hurts you, then they better be ready to square up against pink cheeks (she has the power of god and anime on her side).

+ Tsuyu is the friend who’s always gonna tell you like it is.

+ Like, she can be fun like the rest of your besties, but Tsuyu is who you go to when you need someone to be honest or call you out on you bs.

+ Tsuyu is very emotionally intelligent and an observational and logical person, who is always gonna tell you what you need to hear even if you don’t wanna hear it. This girl is gonna save you from making an ass of yourself.

+ She is a wise little frog. 

+ Momo is the leader of the friend group, or the mom friend. She didn’t try to claim this position, instead she fell it into it due to her natural leadership abilities and her nature to want to take care of and guide people.

+ She is also just such a mom. She is always offering you tea, this is such mom behavior that it’s grandmother behavior. 

+ Our ponytail girl is just a homey person who likes lowkey hang outs where you’re all enjoying some tea and small snacks while enjoying good conversations or watching a tv show you all enjoy.

+ Momo is also everybody’s shopping buddy. She has great style and she loves to shower her friends with gifts and spending excessive amounts of money.

+ She also loves spa days with the girls.

+ Jirou is the friend who has great taste in music and is always turning you on to new bands and artists. Even when you think she’s off and you won’t like it, the song ends up on replay for weeks and is stuck in your head.

+ Never doubt her, she’s always right when it comes to music.

+ You two save up money for concerts tickets. 

+ Jirou loves live music concerts from when she used to go with her parents, but now she’s too old to go with those geezers. So, now you go with her, so she doesn’t get lonely (i love jirou so much).

+ Mina is a social butterfly.

+ She is the most bubbly, friendly, and energetic person you’re ever meet. Mina is all about good times with her besties and just having a blast. 

+ You two are crazy together. Even if you aren’t crazy normally, Mina brings out the wild side of you. You two are pranking everybody in the dorms, doing fun dance or comedy tiktoks, and just being chaotic and unhinged together.

+ And she is loyal to a fault. You could be a hundred percent wrong and she will still be on your side till the end, Mina is your partner and crime, ride or die.

+ Hagakure has all the best gossip.

+ Because she’s invisible, people will just spill like intimate and very juicy secrets around her without even realizing. She doesn’t mean to hear it, but she can’t help that people don’t notice her when they’re talking in open spaces.

+ And sometimes she can’t keep it to herself, she’s just gotta spill it with the girls, especially if it’s something about someone they know or one of them.

+ “I heard that someone has a big crush on our (Y/N),” she giggles. Even though you can’t see her face, you can feel her giant grin.

+ A chorus of “ohhh” fills the room. 

+ Jirou doesn’t think Hagakure should say more, but Mina is shaking the invisible girl begging for more information. 

+ Momo is trying to pretend like she isn’t also secretly wishing for more info too. Tsuyu makes an observation about your reaction (you’re flabbergasted, obvs).

+ Ochaco is glad that her crush is no longer the topic of conversation.
