She has considered chopping off her hair but always decides against it considering her siblings used to braid it for her. It’s one of those memories she holds dear. Along with that, she refuses to braid her hair now.

A woman of few words, Ethir often prefers to observe. However, she will usually offer opinion when asked (or pressed depending on the subject.)

She has never been a horse person, mainly because she can’t ride. They are one of the few animals that intimidate her.

She loves high places, often perching in a tree to keep out of sight and out of reach.

Her (cursed? enchanted?) eye often burns/aches if the Ring acts up, but also when she has nightmares and sometimes when she becomes very agitated.

Also, she literally cannot touch the Ring. There’s always a sudden compulsion to retract her hand or move away.

Prior to the events of The Hobbit, she avoided others and stuck to hunting Orcs. She is, however, indifferent towards most and doesn’t harbor any racism towards dwarfs.

When a piece of her “armor” gives into wear or damage, she replaces that piece with whatever she can scavenge from kills. Everything from her hands to her shoulders is Orcish. Eventually she is given actual elven armor, which she appreciates greatly.

After the Hobbit, she finds her way to Rivendell (thanks to Gandalf) and remains there for a majority of her time.

Eventually, she grows extremely fond of Hobbits and might be a little too soft towards some of them. And protective.
