-peter was born the only child of two local professors; his father taught anthropology while his mother taught eastern literature
-no one could ever deny that peter himself had astounding academic talent -- when he applied himself, his grades were always high. the problem was having any subject that held his attention long enough for him to want to excell at the subject. he skipped both fourth and fifth grade in order to maintain schoolwork that was challenging to him.
-peter went to college at MIT, struggling through his first year and being put on academic probation twice. he and his roommate got kicked out his sophomore year after being caught running a plagarism ring where people would be paid to write papers for other classmates.
-he and his roommate moved out to silicon valley to start developing an app and start pitching it to investors. after a couple of years, when it started to pick up steam and become lucrative, his friend and co-founder pushed him out of the company (as always, peter had neglected the fine print). he only ended up getting a small percentage of what his share in the company ended up being worth.
-he blew the money quickly, taking lavish vacations and partying in LA and trying to invest in other projects tha never quite made it off the ground. on a whim a couple years back he decided to try his hand at DJing after going down a TikTok wormhole, and he's been moderately successful
