AU where Neal doesn’t die (big fuckin’ shock) and goes with Emma (and Hook idc if he’s there or not tbh it works with or without him) into the time travel portal or w/e and they have to find the Dark One and she uses the same bait like “I know something about your son” or whatever (Listen it’s been a long time since I watched season 3 and I don’t feel like asking someone for direct quotes right now) and Neal’s just standing there but really the hype falls when they’re leaving and he’s like “Tell me about my son” (paraphrasing) and she’s like “he just went through the portal now drink the fuckin’ potion you piece of shit” and leaves.
