Caesar blinks slowly looking up at Joseph. He moves his hands slowly, a soft groan escaping his lips. He cups Joseph’s cheek and strokes it.

“Do I look alright? I feel like shit… I don’t… I don’t feel my back.” He murmurs, his eyes squinting up, “Wh-what am I doing?? Did we do it? Did we win? When did you change into such rough clothing?”

“Yeah. We won. My husbands are dead. And you…look like shit. Trust me, you look like shit. But you look like shit who woke up, so that’s better than how you’ve been in a coma. I consider it an upgrade!” He smiles. It feels awkward spreading across his face, he hasn’t smiled in so long, his English comes out with his natural New York accent instead of the London one he affects to get taken seriously.

“G-good, those bastards deserved it.” He weakly smiles up at Joseph, his eyes squint as he pats his friend’s cheek, something feels off, “C-coma? Wait wait wait... how long in a coma??” His eyes widen as he tries to push himself up. It sends a sharp pain and he whimpers softly.
