In this part of the show Camila had a shot of tequila in her hand and she asked to her dad: Without lemon? Without nothing? And Alejandro answered her Nothing, drink.

This scene made me remember a few tweets from a latina fan from Mexico that told about her experience with the tour of 5H when the band went to Mexico. The girl was in the same hotel than the band and a guy from the room service told the fan that “The girl with the family in Mexico and the girl with the green eyes were sharing the same hotel room. He also said that the girls asked for a tequila bottle, time later they asked for a second bottle of tequila and that Camila opened the door in her underwear and Lolo was in the bed covered with a sheet.

The Mexican fan said that she never said to him that she was a Camren shipper, that she didn’t know if the things that the guy mentioned was real or not but that it was strange to her hearing it because the guy didn’t win anything with saying that.

Agreed. But I wouldn’t even call them coincedences. Their story is just so obvious and plain to see, but because heteronormativity is forced upon us every moment of every day of our lives, people are conditioned to deny what’s clearly right in front of them.

The gays see it for what it is not because they’re being “wishful” or fantasizing, they have just broken out of the heteronormative conditioning to be able to recognize what’s obviously gay when they see it.

Camila not only believes in love at first sight because she fell in love at first sight, she also loves the word/idea of “serendipity” because the “parallel lives” she and Lauren were living in South Miami, living in the same neighborhood, having mutuals but not having met each other, then learning about one another when X Factor was auditioning, and finding each other through that and being together through that and falling in love with each other through that, was entirely serendipitous.

Camila doesn’t just think this, she feels it with her entire being and she wants to share it and express it in her art with the rest of the world.

She is a hopeless romantic after all
