Dolly is a friend of mine that has a baby and a young kiddo. Their little family lives in an extended stay motel, paying daily rates in order to have shelter in a dangerous neighborhood. Dolly is disabled and Black, leaving her more at risk for harassment and police violence.

She's trying to raise the funds to pay for storage, which is how she manages to keep all of her earthly possessions and keepsakes. If storage goes into foreclosure, she'll lose important and sentimental belongings.
