Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders): In Khan Yunis, the search for a bag of flour turned into a massacre. Yesterday, Israeli forces killed 59 Palestinians and wounded more than 200, who were brought to Nasser Hospital. The medical team was forced to evacuate the maternity ward and convert delivery rooms into emergency operating theaters.

"I saw people torn to pieces... Hunger should not be a death sentence," says Dr. Wafaa Abu Nemer of Doctors Without Borders.

This nurse stands in Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, with nothing in his hands but compassion, and in his care, there are souls in pain and bleeding. Dozens around him are screaming—some unconscious, others bidding farewell to life—while he tries to be the saving hand. More than 250 martyrs and injured, and the emergency ward has been overwhelmed with both pain and the bodies of the wounded. The emergency room has turned into a field of those bleeding, with blood staining every inch of the space. Yet, he still stands, moving between a child crying, a mother wailing over the body of her son, wiping the sweat from his brow, and continuing.

What strength keeps him going? And what kind of pain must humans endure? These are the scenes of those injured and martyred due to the targeting of aid seekers.

Amid the complete isolation of the Gaza Strip from the world, with the internet and communications cut off, the Zionist occupying forces are committing bloody massacres against defenseless civilians in the southern part of the Strip. This is occurring at a time when residents are starving amidst an escalating humanitarian catastrophe, and the international silence is deeply shameful.
