To be frank, I find that scrappy little indie J-novel club has a somewhat amateurish translation of Apothecary Diaries just is what it is. Given what their and Kevin's resources probably are (possibly barely off the same level as hobbyist fan translators) its even quite good for what it is.

That 886 billion dollar company, Square Enix, just licenses that scrappy little translation work instead of hiring industry professional to make an english version actually fit to bear the title of 'major publisher' is a dishonor.
