Hey my little bunnies! As someone who is white and benefits from white privilege I wanted to speak on some things that ive seen and heard in and outside of the community. First of all i want to state regression is for everyone of all ethnicitys and colors. So when I hear folks say things like agere/agedre is "white people shit" it completely dimishes and takes away from POC who age regress. Ive seen a very common sterotype that only white people have mental illness, need copeing skills, or overall display more "weird" traits. I belive this is credibly harmfull to both POC ageregressors and POC in general. POC are statistically known to not be taken seriously in the mental health division and are more likley not to reseve life saveing mental health treatment because of racist stero types like that.They are also often told to push aside their own mental health needs and comforts (like age regressing) because they are "cringe" and make the POC community "look bad".Also Ive seen inside the community pale skin has become the beauty standard. Not only that, but specifically soft feminity only flaters "soft pale" female littles. This is inherently racist to associate softness strictly with white women. POC women all around the world can be soft,feminine,and gentle. They are not inherently sexual or dirty. POC have seemed to been taught by various groups they are not deserveing of softness, that they need to grow up, and they are bringing down their community and its simply not true. So please remember be kind and accepting to all colors and ethnicitys in this community. All we have is eachother.
