   he  doesn’t  really  need  the  extra  hand,  but  levi  takes  any  opportunity  he  can  to  spend  time  with  a  friend.  he  had  texted  miso  beforehand,  asking  if  she’d  be  willing  to  meet  him  at  his  auto  mechanic  shop  to  help  change  an  engine,  luring  her  in  with  the  promise  of  food  awaiting  her  upon  her  arrival.

   ❛  my  hero  come  to  save  me,  ❜  levi  greets  dramatically  when  she  finally  arrives,  and  he  beams  at  her.  he  has  always  found  he  has  an  awful  much  of  respect  for  miso.

☆   ╱         𝙄𝙏  𝘾𝙊𝙐𝙇𝘿'𝙑𝙀  𝘽𝙀𝙀𝙉  her  day  off  --  it  actually  was  her  day  off,  where  she  was  supposed  to  be enjoying  or  basically  doing  nothing  productive  at  all.  yet,  her  phone  bleeped  at  an  impossible  hour,  with  a  text  message  from  someone  she  wouldn’t  expect  to  be  calling  her  to  do  that  kind  of  work. 

“a bad option – actually they can’t be an option for me. not that i’d ever want to do drugs. can’t quit my job either, it’s super important and i like what i do.”

“i got caught sleeping on my office floor for like the third time this week – maybe overloading on coffee to stay awake at work isn’t my best idea.”

         THERE  IS  A  MILLION  things  on  his  mind  and  no  one  to  calm  them  quite  like  her.  zane  is  always  quiet,  but  his  soul  is  always  restless,  and  she  exists  there  as  something  aliferous  to  soothe  him.  this  is  why  he  rests  his  head  against  her  thigh  so  carelessly,  taking  a  long  drag  from  the  blunt  he  balances  between  his  slender  fingers.  his  apartment  fills  with  smoke,  and  the  scent  of  it  settles  within  its  walls,  but  zane  is  not  bothered  —  very  little  bothers  him.

     «  this  movie  is  crap,  »  he  complains  softly  despite  not  having  paid  much  attention  at  all.  he  rolls  over  in  her  lap  to  offer  her  the  blunt,  shooting  her  a  lazy  beam  of  the  kind  that  is  almost  believable.  this  is  comfort  —  this,  he  suspects,  is  being  human.

☆   ╱         𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙂𝙀𝙍𝙎  𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙂𝙇𝙀  𝙄𝙉  his  hair  in  a  manner  few  would  tell  she  was  able  of  --  with  care  and  tenderness,  comfort  spread  all  over  her  features  and  all  over  her  frame.  strangely  to  most,  that  was  what  zane  meant;  comfort,  the  known.  that  feeling  that  keeps  her  grounded  and  soothes  her  burned  patches.  his  apartment  is  familiar  to  her,  the  couch  she’s  sitting  on  and  the  weigh  of  his  head  against  her  thigh;  the  feeling  of  his  hand  against  her  skin,  the  warmth  of  his  body  close  to  hers.

“Ah,” Shiohn intones, nodding his head slightly. “I see.” He tries not to frown at the mention of Miso’s less-than-healthy habit, but knows he is probably failing to hide his displeasure. “You are likely tired after work, correct? If you would like, I could retrieve your items for you.” He smiles faintly – merely the slightest upturn to the corners of his lips – at her childish drawing of a face upon the glass window and jests, “that way you could continue your… ‘ lazy crisis ’.”

@DAEMIT: hey.. i was just thinkin.. @DAEMIT: if you get murdered.. that’s a homicide right..  @DAEMIT: but what if you’re murdered by a friend? is it now a homiecide? 

His heart is pounding in his throat as he catches sight of Miso stepping out from the parlour. Of course, he knew this was coming – had planned it this way, in fact. And sure, maybe it was a little weird that he knew her schedule well enough to know when she finished work for the day, but they were friends, right? And friends knew each other’s work schedules, surely. Miso wouldn’t find this strange, would she?

He hoped not.

As he approaches she pauses, stopping to search her pockets. He comes up beside her just as she rests her head against the door’s window, and he works up the courage to say something. “Miso, are you alright?” His brow furrows slightly in concern. “Is there anything I can help with?”

☆   ╱         𝙀𝙑𝙀𝙉  𝙃𝙄𝙎  𝙏𝙊𝙉𝙀  of  voice  makes  her  smile  in  a  warm  manner,  even  though  he  probably  can’t  see  since  her  face  wasn’t  turned  to  him  at  that  moment.  shiohn  always  comes  with  great  questionaments  at  any  given  time,  and  she  finds  it  endearing,  really.
