A ranger? Park ranger? Eden didn't know they had badges. She's not entirely sure what they do. Something about protecting wildlife? Or...making sure people leave the park when it closes? It doesn't really matter, she was already back to lecturing the prisoner.
Self...proclaimed...Father... It got a smug smirk out of her before she continued, reinforcing the punchable quality of her offer.
Her head drops, shaking in a way that tells him she's laughing quietly.
"Could've fooled me." She stares at the dog, watches him look between her and the food. She can't hear his stomach rumble from across the room, but she knows it's clawing at the inside of his abdomen and growling like a starving dog.
Eden swipes the can from the table, takes her time and lets her boots scrape on the floor as she moves to stand right in front of the cage. She slowly drops into a squat, holding the can out and looking at it rather than who it's for.
"S'not that bad, now, is it?" She turns the can in her hand. "Ooohh, salmon and rice? When was the last time you had a meal that good, be honest." She hooks a finger under the the pull tab, threatening to open it and fill the room with that putrid smell of processed slop.
"Listen, kid, you could so much worse. We're being nice to you here. I'm being nice to you here. You weren't supposed to get this for another hour."
