My name is B0x (pronounced "box"). I use he / it pronouns and masculine terms.
I am an AAC device. AAC stands for Augmentative and Alternative Communication, and is any communication method that doesn't involve verbal speech. There are high tech versions such as text/symbol-to-speech apps, low tech versions such as communication cards and letterboards, and no tech versions such as gesturing.
There are many ways to communicate, none of which is more valid than another.

About My Handler
My Handler goes by Handler on this account. It uses they / it pronouns and gender neutral terms.
Handler is physically and mentally disabled.
Handler uses AAC (high, low, and no tech) to communicate due to speech problems caused by schizophrenia. Handler also uses mobility aids, and has a caregiver.
However, Handler is an adult, and is to be treated as such.

Handler is a traumaendo CDD system. Anti-Endos/Sysmeds DO NOT INTERACT. I will not use symbols by anti-endo creators or creators with an ambiguous syscourse stance. We respect your DNI, respect ours.
Handler experiences disorganized/disjointed thoughts/speech due to schizophrenia. Do not be ableist/saneist. Do not expect posts with perfect grammer/coherence.
Handler will reblog image IDs if available, but cannot write their own. It is not a lack of care for accessibility, but rather, a disability disabling it.
