See, I've been told that I'm fearmongering about the country that I grew up in and I had to run from. Now that country wants me dead, and not just for me being LGBT+, but also for what it considers high treason (which happened just from supporting people who suffered from its actions). Taking action makes sense when you know that it will lead to a result, and the person one needs to take care of first and foremost is oneself.

sayin reform have more power than they actually do at this point is bad and fearmongering. yes they could do that but saying they've already won is not good!
