Created an image for Reindeer Story, check out the demo: 

And I’ve got some speculation that might explain why the characters just look like regular guys. These three guys are not supposed to be the FF1 Warriors of Light. 

They are from the original future timeline, modern earth and they’re brought to the past by Chaos. They’re transformed into three of the four fiends to drain the planet. They send Chaos back in time 2000 years to create the original games time loop where the “future” is medieval due to the rot.

*Though it could just be Nomura being Nomura with character designs.

Though in the end  I just know one thing.... I WANT TO KILL CHAOS

It's quite simple but the ending to Bowser's Fury is really fun and interesting characterisation. Bowser's general ungratefulness towards being rescued.

Mario's arms crossed half annoyed at the prospect of having to have saved Bowser from himself. Like he knows to expect Bowser won't even thank him.
