I need Jean to be like 6 to 8 years older than Barbara because I want the core of every “For Mondstadt, As always” to be “For Barbara, As Always”. Her being a kid being taught to be a gunnhildr by her mother and as a kid not fully getting it until Barbara is born and she get it’s then maybe Barbara was born early and there might have been complications or maybe it was that now she was an older sister and it gave her a physical person to protect but she now understands at 6-8 years old and that was the spark that motivated her to be the person she is today.

And then Seamus is her best support in game with Jean being a weaker alternative. Meanwhile Frederica actually doesn’t care about hydro resonance and doesn’t really care if Barbara is on the team. 💀
While this is angsty and fun, my brain just tells me Arbor Knight is either Dentro or Geo and in my head Seamus is a Cryo user if he even has one because being a famous adventurer with no vision would be cool in my book

Some time after Barbara was born Jean was being told by Frederica about what I want to call The Gunnhildr Oath which is an pact with oneself to protect a chosen person even above Mondstadt and later that month Jean made one with herself to protect Barbara.
I love Jeans wanting to be the shield of mondstadt instead of its sword and her working with that mindset but I would love to see her lose it atleast once and go full lionfang knight on someone and Barbara being in danger would be a perfect opportunity for such a act to happen
If this is true who do you think Frederica chose? I doubt she has siblings
Or if she chose anybody at all
While not choosing anyone would make sense I think that while she was captain she had someone she either did the oath to or was thinking about it and said person sacrificed themselves for her. (Idk why but I’m thinking a Noelle type person)
She blames herself for the sacrifice and it would be a motivation from just herself to try and become grandmaster.

What I’m saying is that the reason we have no anemo saurians or anything else anemo is because anemo is freedom and natlan wasn’t free

I been thinking on Ei grabbing one person from every nation taking them into the plane of Euthymia and training them like gods to the bone
From mondstadt I would say mainly Jean but maybe also Eula-Noelle-rosaría
Liyue - hu Tao? Idk this place has been hard to pick one from like
Inazuma - Sarah ofc but maybe kazuha and ayaka
Sumeru - dehya Candace or cyno tighnari
Fontaine - clorinde navia wriothorsly or chevruse
Natlan - I would say any of the heroes kinda works idk

Is Jeans Mentality that she isn’t doing enough even tho she is overworking a 1) family induced thing 2) reaction to the ragnvinder situation and the corruption it revealed 3) just being surrounded by amazing people all her life and her want to be like them (ofc she doesn’t see that she is already there and that person to others)
Another thought about Frederica Gunnhildr which is about the fact that both Barbara and her showed up to jeans birthday together and the implications that they planned it together or she went to Barbara first to talk about what to do for jeans birthday. Like she just came back from the expedition has been busy and then she shows up WITH Barbara for Jean says a lot and so little it makes me more curious about this dang family.
