Just ideas and character concepts on the modern Greek Heroes story that I have in my head.

I already have Cadmus and Perseus rough character design charts on my dashboard. Those posts explains my story concept. So here’s the first glimpse of the last third of the old trio—Bellerophon—and an ally that helps the then on their journey—the tragic prophet, Cassandra.

The many reincarnations of Athenide/Percy.

The first page is my design of what I think she looks like. I try to incorporate some fountain features on her loincloth/tapestry belt thing? (wth do you call them?) I feel like I made her look a bit slutty in her garb 😅 My inspiration draws from belly dancers because I like to imagine her as a siren dancing across the waters and make ripples with her echoing voice that brings love interested gods/goddesses down to their knees.

It’s between that and OoT and Ylisse.

Oh and Tellius, the Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn games, are almost always treated as a differnet timeline too. The exception is certain lines in Awakening, though it wasn't consistent and after that game, the series went back to Tellius being separate. BTW, which FE games have you played or have watched an LP of?

No, no it’s fine! It’s bad on my part for not understanding Marth’s games well enough when I haven’t looked at it. I should’ve been more considerate.

For FE games I’ve played: I played parts of Path of Radiance but then I lost the disc. Then there’s Awakening, Fates and Heroes

Oh if you mean the world of Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the EMblem is too small, I'm gonna have to disagree, though to be far, this is a common misconception in the west. It doesn't help that Awakenign and Fire Emblem warriors ignored almost all of the lore for it, even forgetting the Fire Emblem's functionality.

But the first and third game have tons and tons of lore, though not all of it, is in game, there's a huge timeline ingame that given dozens of detail, incredible amoutns of lore and there's tons of interesting character bits. Again, there wasn't enough to put this all in the game, so alot of this was in guides and the original writer's website.

And tons of lore in the original games, is actually done much more differently than later games. Like Medeus the main villain, isn't a big dumb dragon that's evil for the sake of being evil, but rather a former ally of Naga, that became disilussioned with humanity and Naga, becoming a Manakete supremacist, he's also a intelligent and cunning conqueror.

Similarly Gharnef the evil sorcerer/priest, isn't a mindless follower of Medeus, like many of his copies, but a independent mastermind that has a very teneous relationship with Medeus.

Like to compare, whilst Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem name all of Marth's ancestors, Awakening didn't even name Chrom's father or that famous ancestor of Chrom that fought Grima, they constantly keep mentioning, whom never gets more of a name than "First Exalt" or "Holy King" in Japanese.

Speaking of first Exalt, he rips off Marth so sadly, that he can basically be compared to a Zelda game that constantly mentions this legendary hero that:

If you want to know how much the First Exalt rips off Marth, basically imagine a Zelda game that talked about this nameless hero that:

came from Kokiri Forest.

obtained the Master Sword and Triforce of Courage.

Befriended a Zora Princess.

Fought an Evil Gerudo King.

Married the Princess of Hyrule whom held the Triforce of Wisdom.

Only to find out these characters are NOT Link, Ganondorf and Zelda, but the "First Sovereign", "Malladus" from Spirit Tracks, and "First Sovereign's nameless wife".

Read about the character here. Its extremely likely the First Exalt was Marth early in development, but there was a last minute change when they realized the timeline didn't fit. But stuff like that is why I say Marth's games have far better world building and lore than Awakening.

First story starts with SS!Link crossing to the kingdom of Altea (or Archaenea; I haven’t played Shadow Dragon) meeting Prince Marth who is beginning to build his army to reclaim his home. So yeah, obviously SS!Link being the first incarnation has to meet Marth who basically began the Fire Emblem franchise. Don’t have planned on this plot line because like I said I haven’t played Shadow Dragon and I’ve focused on playing modern Fire Emblem games.

Archanea is the name of the largest Kingdom of which is Altea's Suzerain and the name of the continent.

Marth is in two games, Shadow Dragon and Mystery of the Emblem. At the end of the final game, Marth moves into Archanea's capital, merging all the Kingdoms into one Kingdom of Archanea.

In the first game, Shadow Dragon, Marth's goal is to reclaim not only the Kingdom of Altea, but also the Kingdom of Archanea and stop the Earth Dragon Manakete king, Medeus, and his ally, the sorcerer, Gharnef from taking over the continent with their army of Manaketes.

I would like to see a crossover between Archanea and some form of Zelda, could be old school or new, but the problem is the fandom for the former is much too small out of Japan, I feel.

Chrom would already know of the prophecy considering he is a direct descendant of King Marth

If I can do a correction, Chrom is stated as a "distant descendant" of Marth, as it been 2000 years after Marth and its made clear that Chrom doesn't know exactly what Marth did. In the Japanese version, they don't even know the name of the Fire Emblem itself, which they call the pedestal of flames.

Out of universe. the writer of Awakening hadn't played Shadow Dragon or Mystery of the Emblem, or any past Fire Emblem games, this is a big reason why the game is so divisive, especially with fans of old FE.

Fourth story will have BoTW!Link in Fódlan meeting Byleth becoming a professor to the students. Link would be appointed as a training instructor for Garrech Mach, going equal with Byleth in terms of skill. I’m probably gonna go with the Silver Snow route since it’s neutral territory. After the whole fiasco with the Empire and the battle of Garrech Mach and Byleth falling to their “death”, BoTW!Link took place as the next person to look after the rest of the Black Eagles and any other stragglers to safety. Link would discover Byleth in their long sleep, and he would do his best to look after them while fighting off Empire and Kingdom soldiers.

This certainly sounds fun.

Also a bit of a note, whilst you are free to do whatever you want, I mean that's the fun of fanfics, Fodlan is treated as a separate timeline.

Infact, most FE games are, though certain parts of Awakening acted like all the games were the same timeline, but later writers have backpedaled on that, as said before, the writer of Awakening was new.

I only discovered Marth because he was my main in Smash Bros. The idea of the first one is just a starting point of bringing my thoughts together of a series. The «Marth/SS!Link» story will probably be like a one-shot since like you said the world is too small. It’s just a hook line. Their tale will just be dropped subtly into the other stories like one would discover in an ancient history record; “this scholar said of a mysterious elf who fell from the heavens”, “records stated of a viridian swordsman dedicated in fighting side by side with the great Hero-King”, blah blah blah…

Yeah, I did not know the writer of Awakening never played Shadow Dragon. I mean, I kinda get it, but seriously what the hell lol?

You know, originally I wanted TP!Link to be the “child” for OoT!Link instead of Linkle. But then I crossed back on who would pair with Ike well. There wasn’t a lot of Links that could go well in the Fire Emblem world. Other Zelda games depict Link like a child (I mean have you seen his chibi 8-bit appearance in old titles, Toon Link and his high pitched screams, and the recent modern look from the new Link’s Awakening and Echoes of Wisdom).

And didn’t know about Fodlan being a separate timeline. I’m just now looking at LPs to understand the storyline at the same time reading a bunch of Dimilyth fanfics. I’m more excited to dive on the Awakening/Oot 3Houses/BoTW stories, tbh.

As far as character interactions, I haven’t thought through yet. I’d love for Link(s) to talk for once. Why does he have the urge to break pots and into strangers’ houses? Why does he consider chickens demons? Why does he have Deja vu when interacting with Anna? Why is blue hair normal in this damn world?! Why are do their weapons break easily?!

The idea I’ve came up was that after a Link finishes his journey—and probably go through an extensional crisis—he would cross into the world of Fire Emblem (kinda like how OoT!Link crossed from Lost Woods to Termina in Majora’s Mask).

I set up like four stories.

Second story has time jumped to TP!Link crossing Tellius and meeting Ike and the Greil Mercenaries. What better of world with shapeshifting beasts can Wolf Link fit in lmao? I planned to have TP!Link still have the ability to shift into wolf form. He gains tattoos on his forehead like he has on his wolf. He’s more bigger in wolf form that a person can just ride him. (Just imagine pairing Ike with Link. Not only is it funny to see a serious Ike nonchalantly ride Link bareback but it’s also efficient to gain more movement and other power stats in the battlefield). TP!Link would have more relationships with the leguz tribe, trying to bring peace between beast and human.

Third story will go to OoT!Link appearing in Ylisse and encountering Chrom and his Shepherds. Time travel shenanigans, am I right? Chrom would already know of the prophecy considering he is a direct descendant of King Marth, so he would consider recruiting OoT!Link. Go through hardships and heartbreak, get to Lucina reintroducing herself as Chrom’s daughter from the future, we introduce Linkle from Hyrule Warriors into the mix of future children. Yes, I know Linkle is not Link’s daughter, but I would like to put her character more into light since we just disregarded her in Hyrule Warriors and hasn’t made another appearance since. Linkle would be the daughter of OoT!Link and Malon. She grew up as a bubble Cucco farmer (her mother owns a farm) and she grew to like Link’s adventure stories that she believes herself to be an incarnation of the Hero, and that puts her as reckless and clumsy like her father.
