These are my OCs Nathan and Marissa :3 They’re siblings (twins) and i’ve had them since 2020ish<3
Nathan is a ghost who ‘haunts’ Marissa(/pos lol) and they’re like eachothers favorite person
Nathan is/was a super optimistic and cheery kid! Even after he died he always tried to make the best of everything.
For the most part he stuck with Marissa after he died, but eventually he explored dimension P more. Dimension P is short for Dimension Paranormal, it’s a dimension that connects all worlds ever, and has 3 important features: an infinite graveyard, an infinite wall of doors (that lead to other worlds) and lots of monsters. All the monsters are stuck in the dimension due to their inability to open doors and teleport, unlike ghosts. Due to that, many monsters try to use them (and other non-monsters) to get out, making it incredibly dangerous.
However, Nathan continued to use the dimension to travel, because he liked to see the other, more fantastical worlds.
Eventually, that would lead to his demise.
In comparison, Marissa was always more down-to-earth, albeit also pessimistic.
She didn’t do well at all after Nathan died, but if he didn’t come back she may have recovered faster. Him coming back presented her with a decision, to either have a relationship with him or have good relationships with anyone else.
She only ever interacted with him, and since no one else could, it isolated her. Not to mention, nobody believed her so she was seen as crazy too.
He tried to help her where he could, he especially did with school work (honestly he’s the only reason she got through high school) and general emotional support, but there was only so much he could do.
After Nathan was infected and couldn’t return to their world, Marissa worried for months about what could have happened, but everyone around her said it was time to move on.
Eventually she would believe that every interaction she’d had with him since he died was imaginary, and a coping mechanism from the loss. After getting to that point, she was able to keep living her life.
I have some ideas for the 2019 versions reuniting somehow cuz YAYAYAYYAYY
