I was really busy this moth so I didn’t get to participate as much as i wanted in artfight but I did these 2

I’m gonna watch it again now that it’s on YouTube, but here’s a little drawing I did after seeing the movie in theaters (couldn’t remember what color the curtain/blanket was oops) and had to wait till today to share

There’s 2 things I would change but it was still very satisfying. Me and Zooble enjoyed and there were lots of people dressed up or with plushies of their own so that was fun

but first check out my cute Zooble I got at a thrift store a few months ago

In season 2 we see that Gabriel is 100% not Gabriel when he doesn’t have his memories and life experience. Jim doesn’t bear any resemblance to Gabriel except his face and voice. In 3 we’re supposed to believe that Asa and Anthony are Aziraphale and Crowley even though they don’t have their memories or life experience? No, unfortunately they are just a nice couple who have their faces and voices :(

In season 1 Crowley is drunkenly worrying about how the dolphins and gorillas don’t deserve to be destroyed because of someone else’s choices. In season 2 Azi try’s to convince the angels that Job doesn’t want new children he wants his original children not to be killed because of someone else’s choice. In 3 they decide to make the decision and destroy them all. New ones being created doesn’t change the fact that the old ones were destroyed.

In season 2 being erased from the book of life is the ultimate threat because it means never having existed and Crowley tries desperately to stop it from affecting who he loves. In 3 he thinks the best solution to everything is to let the entire world and anyone he cares about be erased and never have existed??

I’m grateful we got an end at all instead of ending with the final 15 in s2, almost no ending would be worse than that. And I knew from the start that it would feel rushed, be lacking in flashbacks and silly banter, there just wasn’t going to be enough time for that. There was really only one thing I needed out of the end and that was for them to be back together again (and maybe for a nightingale to sing) so it’s not like I had any big theories planned out that I thought would happen, it still surprised me, not exactly in a way I would’ve hoped. It of course still had some really fantastic parts and lines, I wish it had been the full season so we could’ve had more of them, and the acting from our Angel and demon was perfect as always

Well, how could I ignore a cat asking me questions? Especially such a mysterious one!

Like, Sarah the big city lawyer lady has to go back to her hometown to save the family bakery and when she gets off the train she runs into her childhood friend Brian who’s the towns only handyman and also a volunteer firefighter. They hug and go to get a cup of cocoa and reconnect. of course everyone sees them and is all “ooh I knew they liked eachother as kids!”

Back at the family bakery Sarah starts planning a big fundraiser Christmas Eve party to get the money to buy the building before the big developer company can buy it. Brian stops by and offers to help since they only have 2 weeks to get it done and Sarah is happy to spend the time with him. Her mom smiles and is all “aww he’s such a catch, you’re lucky” and Sarah rolls her eyes and tells mom not to meddle in her life. 

After a week or so of Christmassy hyjinx and adventures (snowball fights where they end up sitting in the snow together, decorating the tree and he catches her when she falls off the ladder, her wiping whipped cream from cocoa off his nose, etc) they’re all in the bakery making cookies and Sarah steps out to answer a call from her fancy lawyer job’s mean boss and her mom follows her out. 

She’s like “soo when are you gonna ask Brian to be your date to the fundraiser party?” Sarah sighs and tells her “mom it’s not like that” but mom insists “oh come on he’s here making cookies with you days before Christmas, you think he’d do that if he didn’t wanna date you?” Sarah gets annoyed and says “I can handle my own love life!” But mom just smiles and says “you might not see it yet, but it’s so obvious he always liked you, you and Brian are meant to be”. Brian pops his head out of the doorway and says “meant to be friends *finger gun and a wink*” before disappearing back to the kitchen leaving Sarah calling him a dork with a smile. Mom of course still thinks she’s right. 

Finally it’s the big night of the party and they just found out they raised enough money Brian’s friend pushes him towards Sarah insisting it’s the perfect time to ask her to dance! Brian awkwardly holds out his hand to her and asks, she accepts of course and he leads them to the dance floor as a slow romantic song comes on. They stop and turn to each other, looking deeply into the others eyes, and then they both break out into a robot dance completely off from the music giggling like idiots as they do. 

All the meddling family and friends groan around them as the camera pans back so we’re watching them dance through the window as soft snow falls covering the “for sale” sign because they aren’t gonna have to sell.
