(HEADS UP! LONG UPDATE AHEAD!) Still gotta come up with a title for these comics soon. Hey everyone, long time no see! It's been awhile huh? As stated in the post above, I'm going to try my hardest to build up a habit of posting daily life comics. They're kind of like hourly comics or "hourlies" but rather than draw out the progression of my day, I'll be drawing out whatever comes to mind. From random thoughts to old memories to various life events, etc. I'm going to put it all in comic form (provided my wrist will cooperate hahaha). Speaking of my wrist, it's still a little injured but I've been sticking to a regimen of stretching exercises to help combat the chronic pain. It helps a little but I might have to take a break between comics as to prevent it from worsening. I also wanna say I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my art, plus I'm not the best speller nor is my grammar up to standards as you can see. So if you see these posts constantly disappear then magically reappear please know I'm just a bit of a perfectionist is all. Fighting against my perfectionistic tendencies is quite a battle, but I'm getting better at fighting the the urge to delete>edit>repost due to small unnoticeable errors. Not only that, but I'm doing this as a form of artistic experimentation. More than likely there will be changes in the near future which could include various style alterations. Heck, even the title for these comics could be susceptible to multiple changes! Knowing me, I'm very indecisive. :c In other words this has not been planned in advance! It's more of a spur of the moment type thing that I hope will become more official with time. Alright enough blabbin' on my part. Time to get this show on the road! TL;DR AJ is making daily life comics. Rather than using words it'll be pictures instead! Her wrist is still messed up but she's gonna try posting often with some breaks as needed. These daily life comics are just artistic experimentation and not fully official. Changes is style, title, etc. may occur. Some perfectionist tendencies might hinder her as posts will be subjected to deletion with possible reposts/edits.

Some warm-up sketches of Marcy I did awhile back. According to the measurements listed, she’s one tol girl that’s for sure hahaha! :D Hopefully I’ll make a more refined reference sheet for her sometime in the near future. But instead, these scribbles will just have to do.

Her full name is Amelia “Marcy” Hatchkinson. Although that may be subject to change, so we’ll call her Marcy for the time being. c:

Just another sad doodle of Marcy from when I was struggling again. As weird as this sounds, I’m actually quite proud of how this one turned out. I feel like her facial expression came out the way I really wanted it to.

Listened to “Worried Shoes” by Karen O & The Kids while scribbling this. Who knew it’d be so hard taking baby steps in such big shoes?

A small doodle of my character Marcy when I was struggling with some irl matters. Everything's gotten better since then, but still, it sometimes helps to reflect on old art to remind you how you got through it all.

Got around to playing Splatoon 2 awhile back, so I sketched a squid kid! Maybe one day they’ll come up with some kinda cool tentacle-dreads hairstyle in future updates.

I really hope they do bring Rocko back for good one day. If they ever do bring it back with the modern day animation style they used for Static Cling I’d stay glued to the TV!

Oh. My gosh. It’s been awhile since I’ve posted on here hasn’t it? In all honesty, I really didn’t think anyone was active here in the tumblr community art-wise. But that’s no excuse to leave my blog to sit here gathering dust. I’ll do my best to post art on here as often as I can! Thank you so much for your patience.
