A goblin raised among the Urthfolks. A goblin or a half-goblin or a something new?
Ley-Ley's baby goblins! [Info about Ley, my OC here] From her Urthfolk husband. No name yet, but they're ready to show up!
The goblin twins grew up with their mom, away from the rest of the tribe. Thatโs not a great start, and since theyโre goblins living in central Norvik, making friends hasnโt been easy. Ugh, their whole social life is basically just Mom, Dad, Uncle Snell (and he shows up super rarely), plus a ton of babysitters.
On the bright side, Mom and Dad are rich! On the notโsoโbright side, theyโre always busy working.
So the twins spend most of their time reading books and playing tricksย โย which isnโt a bad way to pass the time when youโre stuck at home. And hey, theyโre actually really wellโmannered goblins. Just look at them!
The key is not to ask Snell's opinion.
Itโs really hard to write about kids without sounding like Iโm only showing one side of the story. I didnโt make Behold cards because I think kids donโt really have clear traits until they get a bit older. But if I had to pick a main stat for them, both would be Wisdom. For their second high stat, the girl would be INT and the boy would be DEX. The girlโs more curious and outgoing, and the boyโs more active and good at figuring things out. So if these two are full of energy, taking care of them is no easy job!
Outside the AU (itโs kind of here, but not really @ay-its-bzzare. Ragn used to work fullโtime as a babysitterย โย it was a pretty interesting gig) he just helped LeyโLey on his days off, being a good citizen. LeyโLey paid him fair wages (unlike Snell, who didnโt get a single coin). It was basically like a little side quest.
The kids are great and super wellโbehaved. Ley made it her mission to put a lot into their education. The girl has an amazing memory and already loves reading simple but cool booksย โย sheโs into encyclopedias, even though theyโre too hard for her to read all the way through. The boy isnโt as far along as his sister when it comes to book smarts, but heโs always making up stories for their games and asking her to tell him neat facts. Heโs also a way better drawer than her, even though he really doesnโt like learning how to draw. So his freeโtime options are kind of limited, sigh.
Most importantly, the kids are friendly and full of cheer! Now we just need to find a way for them to hang out with other kids... with someone...

If you take the idea of implants that work remotely, I suggest something more fun
What about the eye used as the most bizarre hidden (not very) camera
Imagine Cha and Dex (failure) betraying the most ingenious (terrible) idea of leaving one eye in Snell's house so Ragn can "keep an eye on" Snell and not feel lonely
And at some point, Snell just sees a terribly poorly hidden (Dex suck) fucking eye right on his desk. It was an eye with a very friendly look (it's not very clear without eyelids and eyebrows yeah), but it's a fucking eye.
Ragn is lucky Snell doesn't throw suspicious shit out on the street cuz he's worried about other people's safety
But "If I see this again in my life, I'll give you a visual trip to a water park and flush it down the toilet"

In fact, I didn't answer for a long time bc I didn't know how to formulate the answer
Because I still can't decide on my favorite headcanon about Ragn's eyes ๐ซ!
I'm sticking to the concept that the ragn should have partially repaired eyes or orbital implants (their fantasy-counterpart) that don't come out. That is, the Ragn's eyes do not have the function of withdrawing and remotely broadcasting the picture to the brain
Honestly, I've been trying inadequately to figure out how Ragn's vision might work:
Through the brain (eyes not restored, vision function restored) / restored eyes (eyes restored and functioning) / artifact (implants that replace the eyes and how the conductor transmit information to the brain) / esoteric tattoo (also works as a conduit of information to the brain, eyes are not used)
I love that all these ways can be weird and fun
But my favorite two heads imply that eyeballs are replaced by implants (not magical), and Ragn's vision works through magic (esoteric tattoo or mind magic directly)
got inspired by the view of some the armour and decided to sketch what Norvikian clerics might look like (i was mostly thinking about Ragn)
i gave them mace (base weapon for clerics) and short swords bc in game there was Urthguard blade described as "One-handed usage, lightweight" So yeah i assumed it's a shortsword and Ragn was trained as Urthguard so i guess he can wield one even though he's an arcane cleric
clerics specifically proficient in light\medium armour so they're wearing chain shirts NOT chain mail second heavier than first one and can wear Breastplate and Half Plate but NOT full Plate Armour bc heavy armor set more paladin stuff AND brigandine technically a medium armour
and as official symbol i decided to add either Great Perch (he literally everywhere and it was said on several occasions that Big P is symbol of Norvik) or The Red Eye of Urth bc....well he's their god so that would make sense if clerics would have his symbol on the uniform
