Okay i’m seeing too many of yall ship Remmick and Sammie from Sinners, which is honestly disgusting— the entire plot of the movie is going over y’all’s heads and I’m also not for the Pearline erasure!!! Sammie was a victim and Remmick was the predator trying to trap and exploit him (a new form of slavery). They aren’t star crossed gay lovers, that man killed Sammie’s entire community basically. Bffr

“Give me Sammie and I’ll let you all live” 💀💀 call me a little crazy but why was remmick talking about sammie as if he were a pet or a toy to be traded or sold off???

Not out of romance or lust, he wanted to USE him as a tool. I don’t expect yall to be media literate, but it’s disrespectful to not even attempt to understand the racial and cultural dynamics of the movie.

Also it’s the fact SAMMIE ALMOST SEEMED WILLING TO GO. IF NOBODY ELSE GOT HURT OR KILLED HE WOULD GO WITH REMMICK😭

The best thing about cherik fanfic is Emma Frost. You never know who she’s gonna be. Is she a villain? A best friend? The Greek chorus? An assistant? An unwilling accomplice? Eating popcorn? She plays a different role in every story and all of them are fabulous.
