Allow me to summarize the life of a broke college student into one picture:

WE ARE POOR.

While it may sound dismal, it all comes with the college experience.

I can confidently say that I have been what you would call “skinny” (but I call “slender”) for most of my life. From toothpick, to twig, beanpole, and bony.  You name it and I’ve been called that name.

It’s hard to take being called “skinny” as a compliment, especially when people are either shoving food in your face or constantly pointing out that your body type is smaller than theirs.

I GET IT.

President Obama addressed the Charleston church shooting on Capitol Hill Thursday afternoon, calling it a “senseless murder.”

“I’ve had to make statements like this too many times. Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times,” said the President.

“We don’t have all the facts, but we do know that once again, innocent people were killed, in part, because of someone who wanted to inflict harm, had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.”

After 14.5 hours, police have arrested the suspect who left nine dead in a shooting at a historical African-American church in South Carolina.

The shooter of last night’s tragedy at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C,
