being an empathetic person is simultaneously the best and worst thing in the world. on one hand you’re very great at anticipating people’s needs, but on the other you start to feel as though it’s your responsibility to do so and that causes you to expend so much energy and feel guilty when you fail. you’re just born being a people pleaser. and that’s so much harder to shake off than if you people pleased just to get approval

life is for taking therapeutic walks and being in your own bubble and reading books in bed and drinking iced beverages and eating fruit and gaining new experiences and dozing in sunlight and finding love in everything and not letting guilt consume your life actually
